  • Over a 1000 in one day is that a record?
  • Wow. Well done.
  • Over a 1000 in one day is that a record?
for league 1 it might be??
  • Just finished distributing 500 flyers at the stations - hope this gets us a few more bums on seats.

We each need to find a few more friends etc to bump it up by an extra one or two here and there.

The team are putting in a full shift every match, so come on !
Let's each try and make a positive difference to the attendance.

Maybe you will need a Stevenage stub to get a Hartlepool ticket ??????
  • I make it 20,291 at present.
  • really looking forward to the game and really hoping it is a sell out! what would cap the day off is if we collect three point's!
  • 1,255 sold today - attendance 20,457.
  • What is your prediction airman?
  • Il be getting 3 tomorrow.
  • Who's handing out leaflets at Surrey Quays Station then? ;-)

Don't get why, they have sold out their initial allocation and will most probably be getting a further thousand tickets, and they only get 3k at home anyway!
  • can't see them getting anymore tickets tbh
  • They didn't let us in their supporters club, so we aint giving them any more tickets, seems fair to me

I live just a couple of miles south of Stevenage (Knebworth, suitable for middle class tossers like me) and they dont really have a "their lot", at least a third of their home gate follow traditional clubs, wear their own colours i.e Spurs, Arsenal West Ham, even a few Addicks before this season (I havn't been since we shared a league where as I saw half a dozen midweek games last year as they tend to play on a Wed and us Tues), etc and other than Wembley dont travel away. If they do bring a few good luck to them they have a cracking out reach program in the community with free tickets and training in local schools and are desperate to try and grow their core support. A lot of priced out premier league fans and youngsters seems their best bet, looking at the average age in the MKD end last week it looked a similar story. I will be very interested to see how many they do bring
  • damn right. if any of them are near you mate i want you aving em
  • Sold 656 today to 1.15pm - 9,576 sold - latest attendance 21,138

(Note comps and refunds mean you cannot just add the number sold to the previous totals)
  • Airman, are we giving any more to Stevenage ?
  • thats a great effort, this might sell out with over 4 days to go!
  • People will no doubt be buying before the game tonight as well. Think this will beat the Exeter attendance anyway.

  • Tonight's final total is 1,345, making 10,278 sold and a gate of 21,850.

  • cant see a sell out on the cards after tonight. We should just give Stevenage more tickets.

One of the reasons we won't is that the last 5 per cent of tickets will be hard to sell, being largely single seats and restricted views. I suspect those are easier to move when the opposition is Arsenal and people are desperate to get in. Retaining empty blocks for potential use by our own fans gives us more options.

You may well be right that we won't quite sell out; I doubt if tonight will have much bearing either way. But I would be pretty confident of getting over 25,000.

Happy as always I see Mike.

    Go on, gissa BIG SMILE!

  • Aw, don't be like that Mike. Go on, just one lickle ickle smile for me.
  • Looking forward to Saturday first home Saturday game in over a month, always get a better atmosphere than the mid week ones.
  • 10,552 sold - gate 22,133
