Valley Express has just passed 1,000 bookings for this game . . . huge numbers in East Kent and the Ashford area, in particular.
Yet we only get 50 people max coming to our meetings.....madness!
It's likely that these newbies don't know you exist. You need to make contact with them. Perhaps the club can help, I don't see why they can't.
Alternatively, make sure that the stewards of the coaches on Saturday give out the info, simples.
50 is a decent turn out for a new branch. It takes time for people to become aware of the meetings and then feel that they are something worth spending an evening on.
CE is right about publicity but the best form of publicity if word of mouth. Just telling people what was said (on here and elsewhere), what sort of evening it was, that there were 50 people there (some people are terrified that they will turn up and there will only be 10 people there) all helps to create interest and a desire to try out the next meeting.
Slowly the word gets around.
And the Club can do a targeted email to people in the nearby post codes. But don't just tell them there is a meeting tell them what they missed last time.
So I expect to see a full report on here Friday morning no later than 10.00am. : - )
Lets try and get the bouncing in the east, west and jimmy seed stands it would be qualty if we could get other stands to do it at a sell out!
I saw the bouncy bouncy at Malmo's Champoins league game against Rangers, when it was home fans only, so all four stands were full of Malmo. The game was a complete sell-out and Malmo went through with a late equaliser. the ground just errupted and all four stands just bounce like crazy. their ground built two years ago, was designed to accomodate the crowd bouncing as it is common practice. i was sat at the back row in the press seats and when the whole crowd bounced the stands actually spring up and down, awesome. Lets hope saturday has us bouncing all afternoon.
1000 tickets to sit together in the jimmy seed stand fans asked to buy early.Open till 8pm tonight.9am open tomorrow until 8pm.9am start on Saturday let's get 26000 odd.
Ah dammit, ace news, but promised liitl'un he could come with his elder sister this time. How are we doing in NU Airman? We've two in the Family section NW Quad.
question - i keep trying to buy 2 seats next to each other on the ticket site, but it keeps saying there "isn't enough room" and cancelling in the shopping cart. When there clearly is 2 seats availible next to each other. What gives?

best to ring them up.
will do first thing, urgh, i have a phobia of speaking on the phone to strangers. Not fun.
So capacity = 27100 minus 400 segregation = 26700.
Sold 11990 to CAFC, 1200 to Stevenage, plus 9200 S/T = 22390.
Gate = 23,603.
Difference = 1,213 . Are these all complimentaries ? Not bothered, but the figures don't otherwise add up.
We've got about another 50 paid STs. You're missing comp season tickets, as well as comp match tickets. Stevenage have 1,300, whatever they are saying.
