  • Cheers. Many sold in there yet?
  • With #FootballforaFiver £5 sales this morning continuing apace, I'm told that the gate for tomorrow's game has now passed 24,000 (MW) #cafc
  • Just be nice if mine turned up in the post. Not hopeful since i ordered them last week. Pain in the arse.

Commercial centre won't let me change my two from NWQ to Jimmy Seed. Only got them online about 20 mins ago.

Just about to get a cuppa. Not sure why you'd need updating on that but there you are.
  • 12,636 - sold 523 today.

We've got about 2,100 we can sell.
  • Whats all the interest about tomorrow's match.......are they only going to see the Stevenage..? ;o)
  • Hope it's over 26,000.
  • So roughly 800 seats cannot be sold due to segregation?
  • 400 I believe?
  • How many have they been given?
  • So roughly 800 seats cannot be sold due to segregation?
Just under 400. This is a very complicated subject, because there are seats you cannot sell at £5, but we think 26,500-26,700 is the maximum. We are looking at how we can release the maximum number for sale.
  • Would love to see 26,000 +

The players, staff and board deserve it.

OK so a lot of the fans will be youngsters who don't know the songs or know who the players are, but so what!? Whatever people say about "Little old family club" Charlton, I will never be ashamed of it. I was first taken to the valley aged 10. I didn't know who most of the players were apart from a few. Now, over the footballing season, I will go to more football weekends away and good days out (this season in particular) than a lot of mates put together.
  • The attendance figure for the top-six encounter swept through the 24,000 mark on Friday morning, and it's hoped that the final gate could smash the 37-year-old post-war record for a third-tier fixture in SE7, which stands at 26,104 for Crystal Palace's visit in January 1975.

  • Just seen the OS article about this. Refers to Stevenage fans not being allowed to purchase leftover tickets. Without wanting to advertise on the internet anything that suggests that they may in fact be able to get away with it, but Stevenage aint exactly up north - how are the box office going to invigilate whether anybody who turns up and wants a ticket tomorrow is a Stevenage fan or not?

    This!

After seeing what the people in Stevenage looked like at the away game I would have just Jeremey Kyle standing next to the ticket office to do some recruitement.
  • Why can't our club make some phone calls to red card members tonight and ask them to come along tomorrow?.
  • I heard the whole 1200 are there on one family ticket !

People on the database would already been targeted by post or email

There have been adverts in the local press and all over the website.

If they haven't got the message yet they most likely aren't coming anyway.

  • Highest attendance i'n third tier since god knows when according to twitter thought city might have had more. Still well done the club let's get behind them tomorrow
  • But a personal call could get a done deal quicker.Charlton hello would you like to come along tomorrow for a fiver?.Supporter ok I take two tickets done deal quicker. It would stop Stevenage on the day.
