But a personal call could get a done deal quicker.Charlton hello would you like to come along tomorrow for a fiver?.Supporter ok I take two tickets done deal quicker. It would stop Stevenage on the day.
Quicker how? You then have to take their credit card details and process that. And if the people aren't in on a Friday night? Who rings them back? Would you fancy working hard all week flogging tickets at over 1000 a day and then spending Friday evening on the phone?
There aren't that many commercial centre staff anyway. They are pretty busy selling tickets to people who want them Much better than cold calling those who might but most likely don't.
Good to have ideas but not all ideas are practical or possible.
We will NOT be restricting sales to Red Card members tomorrow, although it would help us if people buying know their CON numbers if they have one. We will be on general sale, but we have a plan to screen out Stevenage fans.
833 sold today so far. Closing on 25,000.
Based on current demand, we are going to get within 1,000 of selling out. More than that I can't guess.
if my maths are right looks like we may only need about 1000 walk up tomorrow to beat the record 26,700-26,104 =596 1800 left- 596 = 1204... if we sell say 250 in the morning before 1pm leaves about 1,000 walk up to beat record

Brilliant. Well done too everyone at the club for such a great effort. Really looking forward to it
Ill be interested to know what this plan is Airman, perhaps you can reveal all on Monday once the game has safely passed without incident?! Ask everybody how many of the starting 11 away at Ancona in the Anglo-Italian Cup they can name? Or ask them where we play our traditional pre-season opener - Welling, Welwyn, or West Woolwich?
Fuck me a few stevenage fans in the home ends is hardly the vikings is it
Understand that view, but it's not a position the clubs can adopt because they are required by the police and their safety certificates to enforce segregation. Neither is it defensible afterwards if it then kicks off in home areas.
I don't personally expect any problems with Stevenage fans.
I won't be there tomorrow but would just like to congratulate everyone at the club for what must have been a very hard working week for you all, good luck with the final rush tomorrow and here's to a full Valley and a win for the lads.

Which browser are you using? I think the ticketing system only works with explorer. I've had the same problem in the past using Chrome.

Used Chrome when I got mine but that was nearly 2 weeks ago.

Bloody Charlton - if they'd only made it known that tickets were available for a fiver over a month ago and then regular updates were given about how the ticket sales were going, then there would be none of these problems the day before the game.

Yes, although I don't think ladies normally get charged.

Current total 13,089 (Chesterfield 9,062, Exeter 11,158)
Previously on the matchday - Chesterfield 2,194, Exeter 2,051.
If the trend holds this match will sell out. Still a big if, though.
