I was thinking of going but what's put me off is people saying to get the last train back to London it would require me leaving the game 10 minutes early and I don't fancy driving especially when it's on CAFC player
I am on the 19.27 back from Sheffield, there is nothing to worry about on that score
Just don't see us losing this, the blip is over & losing to orient will focus us once again just as stevenage did. It's 3 points to the league leaders. (Apologies if I sound like a wendy)
I got tickets via thetrainline.com just before Christmas - £20 there and £17 back. Booked on the 9.25 from St. Pancras, so shall hop in a taxi and hopefully make the Fat Cat for opening time at 12. The timing's not ideal after Christmas, although I'll be disappointed if we can't take 1,500 up there. Unlike the rest of our party, I'll be watching the game with a Wednesday supporting mate in the South Stand and adopting an Alf Ramseyesque demeanour when we score.
the wendies have a knack of conceding goals, especially to most league one teams, which for us, is quite handy, i predict a huge counter attacking performance by us, really pissing them off with 2 or 3 goals with only about 35% of the ball, they may get one or two themselves.... their fitness has to be suspect they always concede late goals so hopefully we will be ahead going into the last 15 minutes & get a couple more, leaving us 7 ahead of the blades!
The thing is, if we're 1 up with 10 minutes left then we'll most likely see the game out. If Wednesday are 1 up with 10 minutes left, they most likely won't. It's going to be a close one and no-one in this league is unbeatable.
Bloke at the ticket office earlier said we sold about a 1000.
Nonsense. In any case there is no rush to buy as we won't sell out.
Asian bloke said it to me and choice after the game when we was buying the tickets, maybe he said it to try and boost sales, who knows but he did say it!
Comments
in what sense nonsense?
Totally agree
