798. I have sent my two back. I really wasn't expecting the toilet facilities to be so primitive orp Norf. I mean outside brick privies in the 21st century? disgraceful and I ain't lowering my toilet standards for anyone !
I expect us to take 1,200-1,500 in the end. A factor for a lot of people who don't normally go away - over and above the money post-Christmas - is that Fulham makes it three Saturday matches running and they find that difficult with family, etc.
Haven't bothered to get my tickets yet and I work there!
i guess over people fancy doing other things with their time than paying 80 notes (food, drink, train, match) to travel up to Sheffield. Just the way it is unfortunately.
But for a game like this you would think people could make the effort
Why are so many sheffield wednesday fans obsessed with our away attendences? Yes, we dont have an amazing away following. Big deal, get over it.
They have to be obsessed with attendance because they can't talk about being top of the league. That position is currently held by some other team. One with poor away attendance apparently..
First time up to Wednesdy. Is it best to have a few drinks in the Howard or Globe and then cab or tram to the ground. or are there any decent pubs nearer to the ground?
New Barrack Tavern on Pennistone Road, 10 minutes walk from the ground, absolutely blinding
Wednesday do seem obsessed with our away support-all I want to add is: as long as we have 11 players on the pitch, that'll be enough for you to concern yourself with.
The last time I went up there was awful. Lost 4 1 and just remember Wednesday singing "we've got or wednesday back" for most of the game. Terrible journey as well. This will be better though I'm sure. I've got a soft spot for Wednesday because of the goal they scored when Millwall were celebrating a disallowed goal and turned out that sent Millwall down at the end of the season.
Plus for the geezer who kicked the palice **** up the arse who ran on the pitch and taunted them when palice sent them down at Hillsborough two years ago
How many did we take to Hillsborough last season? it was on the same weekend.

similarly we had played a premier london side the previous week and taken decent following there. but i reckon if the stars were aligned differently that we'd have brought more.
Not too bad at this stage, hopefully a few more sold early next week and some walk ups, we might exceed the Sheff Utd turnout which for our standards is respectable.

yep, if only we could have another league game or two to boost the numbers
early days yet se9
get the fulham game out the way then everyone will be up for it
This probably has been said but I'm not going through 8 pages.
But if we went out the cup or had someone not worth getting excited about, this game would of sold a lot more by now.
