I think these are the ultra's J BLOCK was on about, pwopa nawty.
  • Serious question, when you played Sheff Utd, I got told they played you off the park and your first goal was lucky/against the run of play, was this true or was i mis informed?

You're going to be in for a shock when we turn up. Who was the last team to win at Hillsborough in the league? We've got a thing for ending records this season.
  • I couldn't care if  we take 8000 there and its a sell out or we take 20 and its like a morgue

as long as we get three points.

The points are all that matters.

  • That YouTube of "ultras"....had to be a wind up by a Blade surely? funny all the same! Very embarrassing if posted by an Owl.

Without reading ten pages of this, would I be the first to say it ain't the numbers but the noise that is important to the 11 guys on the pitch, who we support. I don't expect that to be lacking.

It will make for a better atmosphere if the Owls sing up a bit this year so bring it on. Must get around to sorting my ticket.
  • Just seen the you tube clip, scared to ask Hudds "what they went through" now terrifying..........
  • I do hope you get vocal when you come up because plenty of tickets getting sold at ours for this one, we will really get behind our lads, just ask Hudders what they went through.
Some people singing at them, terrifying!

Have you considered taking up 'war Hammer' or similar? You seem like you'd enjoy the role-play and like having fantasy battles.
You could paint all your orks in little Sheffield Wednesday kits!
  • looking at that vid there must have been a sale on at Madhouse the week before.
  • "This looks more like an episode of Inbetweeners."

  • Fantastic clip.

The bloke at the back of the group about 50 with no hair....he knows all the words and all the moves, quality. He is also able to jump up and down pretty well, and he can point too. You can see he is a good role model for the other Ultras. I can understand how Huddersfield Town must have suffered, and I reckon those lot must have scared the bejaysus out of Alfreton Town, which accounts for the narrow scoreline there.

It aways surprises me why away support in general is so high in this country. In many other countries big clubs can have massive home support but not take many away. I can't be because it is cheap to travel/watch games or easy to get there with our roads and railways so it must be a cultural thing.

We genuinely got more trouble from Wycombe away. I don't think this is going to be an easy match by any stretch but I think Wed fans think they know far too much about our team based on one match on Sky. Granted we weren't great but Wednesday were very lucky to come away with anything from that one. Stephens should have put it to bed in the first half and Weds never really looked like taking hold of the game, but they got the goal back and that's what matters. I can't pretend I've seen anything of Weds apart from that one game and the FL Show highlights so on from alone I reckon it will be tight. I reckon any Wednesday fan who has a strong opinion on how Charlton's squad will perform is spending far too much time at The Valley
  • All I recall from Wednesday away last season as far as atmosphere is concerned was "Barmy army clap clap, Barmy army clap clap, Barmy army clap clap"
    Poor Huddersfield.

There's so many who keep saying "I've watched them a few times this season & they're nothing much" I'm surprised our gates aren't above the 20k mark.

We don't dominate all game every game but we defend better and score more goals than most of the other clubs in this league.

Have read "Charlton aren't all that" a few times, I guess they just expect the team top of the league to look levels above every other club? We're not going to destroy the opposition every game but we look like we'll compete in the Championship with this squad and goal difference gives an idea on how well we are doing.

  • remember last year at 2-2 them hitting the post in the last minute and hearing a huge 'oooahhhh'...thinking if that had gone it the place would have erupted.

no matter what they think of us and we think of them, its gonna be a crackin atmosphere and one im really looking forward too.

  • Is that Roland Browning at the back of the, ahem, Ultras?
  • I think these are the ultra's J BLOCK was on about, pwopa nawty.

wow ... gonna be tough getting through that ... without falling asleep

They made a lot of noise in the game before where they won 4-1.

You mean there will be a stand full on them doing that? Fantastic!
  • The bald bloke at the back, is that Mr Bronson from Grange Hill.

Also the 3 in the front haven't quite got the hang of pointing in the right direction.

  • Anyone on the SWFC forums ?  send this on to them to tell them this is how its done
