Most overated player for ages imo , I like him for the passion that he shows on the pitch but not his ability. I don't care at all if he leaves but don't particually want him joining Palarse.
i would find this very hard to swallow but the fella gave us everything when he was here, if anyone knows him or has any way of contacting him tell him not to do it
When have I ever gone on a wind up Bedsaddick? Why would it worry you anyway? You're better than Semedo right?
And that means?
we can sign you instead
?????????
I think you've just made my point. You have a history of talking bollocks .Administrator or not.
ha ha ha I'm not admin! Back up your comment then? Where's more evidence? Twat.
I have just passed on what I was told.
I have a life and i cant be arsed to back it up but you know exactly what i mean even if others dont , Glad your not Admin . Twat. Now go and play with your Palace friend
Like AFKA said, if he hasn't re-signed by by now he's not going to, unless he gets to August with nothing better on the table. I won't lump him in with Pitcher, solely because that clown took time out at a press conference to slag us off (the Mickey mouse tie incident). What I did hear was that his agent, old monster monster Eric Hall, persuaded Palace that Pitcher could play at right back in the prem; no one noticed he'd been moved from there to midfield in Div 1 due to his continental drift type pace. His first game saw the scallies running six past them with our hero at RB....
I want him to stay but if he is to leave just don't go to Palace or Millwall Jose....but loyalty went out of football years ago so it won't surprise me.

Rumoured since January that he had signed a pre contract with palace, which would be activated if we did not match the package offered. He is replacable so no big deal really.
The fact we haven't resigned Semedo proves we don't have that much money. Otherwise we'd just pay what he wanted and done with, especially as the board know he's a fans favourite. Bad news if true.
don't see this. for me it just means we're not prepared to be held to ransom. IMO Semedo isn't too good for Div 1 so he should be paid Div 1 wages. If, to keep him, we needed to pay over the odds then let him go.
As has been said Hollands is a good signing and if he's partnered by JJ then we're not in bad shape at all. Let's get Parrett back too.
Is this the same Semedo who blubbed like a big girl when he scored his first goal for us after being at the club for about 15 years? Is this the same Semedo who would be outpaced by my mum? I for one am not fussed if he moves on, he is not good enough for the Championship. He had bags of passion though, so I will miss that, but hopefully the lads we have/will be signing will have the same.
If true, gutted that he has gone to the nigels but still appreciate everything he has done and tried to do for us. Nothing like the Darren Pitcher situation. Just hope Hollands gives us 100% like Jose. What next? Racon to the spanners?
We have missed a trick with Semedo the whole time he has been here. That plonker Pardew turned him into a midfielder when it was quite painfully clear that he was a defender and played well when we put him there. When he goes his new club will no doubt have the personnel to notice his qualities and play him in the correct position and he will go on to much bigger and better things than either us or Palace. This is a classic example of a player being Charltonised, the fact he managed to still win player of the year when playing out of position shows the effort, passion and ability of the man. I will be gutted if he joins Palace, who are far worse than Millwall for me personally as most of my mates are Palace, and as for wishing him the best if he goes there - no chance.

Just had a look on some of the palarse forums and seems to be a fair bit of belief there that this is gonna go through.... various sources etc... annoying if true... not so much in terms of what we will be losing (I can't help but see past the fact that Jose has been at the centre of our midfield throughout the big slide)... but more so because there would be a player who would of gone from crying with joy at his goal at the valley and apparently saying he wants to be stay with the club for life to signing with one of our biggest rivals within a couple of months...Would really show there is no such thing as loyalty in football anymore.. esp at this level

this isn't about position it's about the level at which he plays. he may have done well in defence when he was needed but so did Matt Holland. if he was our first choice centre back I see us moaning he was too slow.
i think his position is right but at any level above Div 1 he'll struggle. he will work hard and put in a performance but he'll get found out. that's why we shouldn't pay him over the odds too.

But we're building a squad "capable of competing in the Championship" aren't we? How is a tight League One wage structure going to achieve that?

Plus, you wonder how much of that was said when they arrived and have since though they can't afford/don't want to afford to spend on players.
If it is true- I don't see how losing your best player makes you stronger despite what some might say. We will need to bring in some real quality to compensate, so surely best to match what Palace would be willing to offer him anayway- agsin if it is true!

Totally agree with that. We have a habit of being pleased when our best player leaves, only for him to be replaced by worse (see Andy Reid, Zheng Zhi, Murphy etc).

Bollocks.
In that case I apologise BedsAddick. I was wrong and now feel bad. You are not a twat I am for my confusion!

Good luck to him. I wish him well.
The king is dead, long live the king.

If I were palace and Semedo and racon were gettable on a free I would do it.
It's up to us to move on and compete, don't worry about it, the wheel will turn again quite soon.
