Oh come on, Daisy was one of the greats. A bit lackadaisical at times, but he scored some decent goals and played some crafty passes. Perhaps not one of the greats, in truth, but not the worst.
We've done this about a hundred times before. \The worst player in the history of Charlton Athletic is, always was, and always will be Amdy Faye. Thieving a living that bloke - twenty grand a week that tosser was on.

Its all very well saying Amdy Faye, JFH, Redfearn etc but as those fellas were all Premiership level they cant really be considered.
As this is the worst side we have possibly ever had and our lowest position for years then I would go with any number of the current side particularly Francis, McCormack and Docherty.
Semedo wouldnt be fit to lace Kish's boots of 7/8 years ago.
liverpool at home luke young throws the ball to faye simple pass back the **** put it two rows in the crowd - we were already 3-0 down i got up and walked out before i said something arrestable
Mike Small's name comes up a lot in this type of discussion, thanks to just one miserable first half at The Den. I'm pretty sure however that he'd played a reserve game the day before, so for these reasons he just about escapes. I think it's a little unfair to name players who hardly played - same with Puoso. So my award for long term crappiness goes to....Amady Faye.
McCormack. JFH might have been past it when we signed him (Murray's choice if rumours at the time are to be believed) but I sat near him a few times when he was injured and he was shouting and going mad at some of the decisions - so you couldn't criticise his passion for winning! As for worst player - I'm sure he stopped a couple of goals by getting his giant arse in the way....
I cannot believe someone said Peter Shaw ,he was nt too good to start with but i thought he was superb .I had the pleasure of playing in the same team as him at Bromley ,he was fantastic there too and an absolute bloody nice bloke .The worst player i ve seen for Charlton has got to be Hassleblank .That freak of nature Dowie really destroyed us
Why? He gets 6/10 for being a Charlton player, BUT -10 for being a Charlton Manager, that makes -4 in total, so he easily is the worst of the worst.
However, Powell says that AP encouraged him to become a manager, now if he works out well (CP that is) then AP gets +10 which then gives him a score of 6/10 again....so we are back to JT being the worst player of all time.
Harry Cripss. Slow, fat and the biggist thug I have seen on a football pitch. Ex Millwall captain. Say's it all really. His party trick was the quick one two punches to the kidney's. Could only get the one punch in by the time he came to us. Signing him was one of the saddest days in our history.
Carl Tiler was shocking. He wouldn't have got in my sunday league team. And we were rubbish.
I'm sure everyone will agree that Kish performed well for us, I think what people are saying is that he is one of the worst footballers they've seen play for us. To be fair, back when we were in the prem, I used to think that as well. And so did everybody else I knew.
I know it is going back a while but we had a bow legged midfielder from Coventry Ernie Hunt who was poor and the worse centre half that I have seen Bobby Goldthope

Simples.
about 75% of the people 'nominated' on this thread have never played at the level we're at now.
exactly some can't see/smell the shit from under their noses
About 75% of the current squad being a case in point!
They've taken the wages, but have they played for us?
