I seriously seriously hope this isnt the case, "we back phil" "wise not involved" - one week later Wise manager and Parky sacked ...... I've got to be honest this whole thing reek's!
Very disappointed if true. One of ideas of sacking Parky is surely to replace him with someone every fan can get behind.
He's record isn't poor, but apart from the end his time at Leeds he always had Poyet as his assistant. I just can't see how Wise would be seen as the best candidate. Seems more like Jimenez giving his mate a job. Even worse after they said he was not involved just days ago.
We don't need a big name manager like Hoddle or Poyet, there are others that would be equally good for us and probably better.
I'll support him, hope he proves himself, but I'm not expecting huge improvements in the performances or results. Perhaps a decent transfer budget will get some good players in and make the difference. Or maybe it's not actually going to be Wise.
Wouldn`t mind Wise in control. Just strikes me that given that it still only 72 hours since Parkinsons dismissal if Wise is appointed so quickly then the board havn`t really explored too many other avenues ? I will believe it when someone reports it before the OS.

Whilst I knew we weren't being told everything when the takeover was completed - it would be a massive kick in the balls to have them tell us two things WOULDNT happen and then they do.
Very disappointing if true
Maybe the new owners thought "getting someone is will be a piece of cake - we've got a bit of money and are a big name" but maybe the reality is that nobody "big" wants to touch us with a bargepole....and sometimes I think to myself maybe they have a point

Bathroom Staff are always the key to any successful football manager.
Agreed. I've had a basin full.
£2 per piece
If that is what we end up with, i really want to see the faces of those expecting Zola, Curbs, Hoddle, Hughton etc
Trust you to get back on topic, AFKA.
Aren't you bored with it all now, like many of us?
;o)
