He is a great PROSPECT and that is all. A few games in the first team when we do not win/generally play badly but he comes out with some credit does not make him the next big thing.
With an attitude such as this, we do not need him.
[cite]Posted By: kodfish[/cite]I was told yesterday that he was in tears due to the amount of abuse he and others had to endure from our fans whilst walking down the tunnel after the daggers game.
The fans have hounded him out!
Well if he is PL bound he'd better get the Kleenex out cos the pressure doesn't get any friendlier there!

[cite]Posted By: PaulCAFC[/cite]Can't see him in any Premier League first team for some time - would have been better staying here for another season to get established. Good luck to him and wish him well if he goes.
My thoughts exactly. He isn't Shelvey material, not by a long shot, if he does get a big move then I fully expect him to be straight out on the loan bus. Let's not forget he was at Eastbourne last year!

Bless
I stood right by the tunnel, clapped a few players off including Jenkinson and he individually was getting no abuse from anyone near me.
The abuse shouted by the tunnel was far more general "we're crap" "sort it out" "you're not fit to wear the shirt", rather than specifically aimed at any specific players (except McOxo)
Surely not going to get regular football above this division, so I'd imagine it probably is a Prem or top Championship club. Doubt he'd leave to be a squad player for an average Champ side, wouldn't be much of a step up.
Suppose having 3 right backs and having Cousins who is meant to be very highly rated, coming through the ranks maybe he thought he will try his luck elsewhere
If it's Arsenal he'll be training with better players everyday, although he is unlikely to get a look in other than the odd Carling Cup game.
Shame as I think he looks a decent prospect and a full season in L1 wouldn't have done him any harm.
I hope he gets off of Twitter - got a feeling he will get some abuse from the back 5 rows of the North Upper on there. Already people asking why he thinks he's bigger than the club.

One of those 3 right backs is Francis who I was hoping I'd seen the last of
Am very disappointed - bet he ends up in the reserves if goes up a division or 2 though - surely he'd be better off playing regular games at this level
[cite]Posted By: harveys gardener[/cite]Don't let him become bitter over derisory "junior's" wages - he's showed he can mix it with senior pro's.
Ben Godfrey is all I'll say.
Did we offer Godfrey a pro contract then?
We did on £300 a week so instead of accepting he took up a job an apprenticeship as a carpenter on half the money but is now qualified on about £2k a month and plays for croydon athletic now earning £100 a month!

And he was dropped for last night - bizarre! That was grim footage - paying for a ticket is hardly an invitation to spew that vitriol.

Hmmm...I'm not sure, Dagenham was a shocking performance and the players are going to have to put up with some horrendous stick if they perform in that manner. Not sure why Worner was singled out though.
Really disappointed with this - he's had 10 years of us coaching him and improving him and then walks away at the first opportunity.
I know there is no such thing as loyalty in this game but this really does annoy me
IF, and thats a big if, he's off as a result of some of the fans then the wankers should feel proud of themselves for depriving us of a potential great player.
I'd hope they now contact Connor Morris and ask him to stick around

Can't even believe the first line is being suggested - thought it would be a cracking excuse for him to move on if it does get trotted out.
Think we need to get a sense of perspective of where we are and how attractive we are. Not going to repeat everything I have said and replied to on twitter but you can take a look here:

Very pleased Solly has signed though.

Surely that can't be true?!
Then he's a boy playing a mans game.

He needs to Man Up.
SOLLY, SOLLY, SOLLY!!
He's an Arsenal fan apparently and Wenger is good with youngsters (in a footballing sense!) so I suppose you can't really blame him sadly.

Whatever happened to him?
Big lump as I recall....
Tapped up more like. What a way to end your career before it's even started.
(I went to school with his sister)

Second line I'd agree with.
