[cite]Posted By: Macronate[/cite]Hmm..mixed messages above from the Toon fans. Patient lot aren't they.
If Newcastle lose to Wigan & the Whammies, could his job be under threat? Hope so.
Aren't they just annoyed at Hughton being sacked more than expecting instant results from Pardew? Had Hughton stayed and got the same results they probably wouldn't be moaning.

Suppose so. Goes back to the ridiculous sacking of Hughton.
9:36 @SkySportsChrisB: Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is to meet with club owner Mike Ashley in an effort to free up the funds he requires to strengthen his squad.
Very strange stats on the BBC for this game 80% 20% possession to Newcastle! SSN saying Arsenal could be 7-8 up already and Van Persie has just missed a sitter for his hat-trick
Just back from the bar where I watched this game. Unbelievable. Phil Dowd (the ref) played a major role in the scoreline with the sending off and one of the Newcastle penalties was very dodgy. The sending off was correct as Diaby's reaction is just not tolerated in the game today but Barton's challenge leading up to it was diabolical and not even a foul was given.
Arsenal also lost Djourou, their best defender, to injury just before it all went pear-shaped.
I much preferred seeing the down-trodden look on Pardew's face in the first half to that smug look that started to appear in the second. Too many shots of him on TV for my liking.
It's a tough one this. On MotD tonight where going to have to put up with the smug look on that w@nker Pardew's face, but then we'll have the consolation of seeing or Wenger's boat at having let a four goal lead slip. Not entirely sure they cancel each other out though. Might just not watch it at all.

mate motd is a must tonight that many goals for fans of any form of football there is everything there for you
Watch pardews face when they go down by 4 will be great i wont look at him when they start scoring i will though keep laughing at wenger as i truely dispise him as much as the big nosed plum
2nd in the league, still in 3 cups and cash in the Bank...I could not understand why Wenger did not go out and buy a top quality Centre Half like Chelsea did, I know it is not his way but this could have been their best chance of winning the Prem in years with Chelski & Man City likely to go cash crazy again in the summer.
Well Man United just lost to the worst team in the league, just proves how great football is, all I want now is Shelvey to score in a thrilling game tomorrow (and I'd love to see Torres score against Liverpool, the interviews they held with the fans just confirmed to me what fickle tw@ts they are)

Then Toon have got West Ham who may just be turning a corner.....
