[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]Manager Speculation : Ladbrokes now have Paul Lambert as favourite for the Burnley job. Let's hope so, would derail Narwich.
Especially if he takes Hoolahan with him. Start praying now.

now that would be a right result ... sometimes it's good not to have that good a manager or players!!
[cite]Posted By: ISawLeaburnScore[/cite]he's odds on favourite... he can't possibly jump ship twice in one season!
You can't play for 3 clubs in the same season, but can you manage 3 clubs?
What would you do if you were Lambert? IMO there's a strong chance Norwich and Burnley will both be in the same division next season and Norwich get bigger crowds. But Burnley will have 30m of Sky money behind them.

On the principle that the only certainty in life is right now, this moment in time ...... then if Burnley did offer him the job, he'll have achieved his ambition of managing a club in the Prem. He'll have half a season to prove himself - which if he does, will put him in the shop window for a bigger job in future.
Or he could stay at Norwich with no guarantees, but a good chance of promotion to the CCC.
I wonder if Coyle knows Lambert and recommended him. Don't think they played in the same side but were both in Scotland at the same time.
As I said on the other thread I'm sure that, having nicked Lambert off Col U with no compensation agreed, Norwich and their fans will have no complaints.
[cite]Posted By: Henry Irving[/cite]Just as well we gave Parky that contract extension : - )
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Interesting to see Steve Coppell in the papers seemingly fairly desperate to get back to Reading but they dont appear to want him.
Lambert going would be a massive loss for them and a huuuge bonus for us. He's done a great job there and, importantly nowadays, comes across very well in the media.

For a laugh they could go for Ade Boothroyd, I have heard he has done ok at Colchester

Are you saying Leeds are going to blow it then Oggy ? ;0)

LOL
Would suit a manager who lives in Essex and is looking for work. P'haps.

Striker with 1 goal all season!
Thought they had no money - isn't this the third player they have bught in...maybe all to be funded through the sale of Hoolahan?
Gary Megson left Leicester after about 4 games to take the Bolton job. Wouldn't surprise me in the slighest!
I would swap Holt for McLeod and Hoolahan for Dean Sinclair. Then I'd take the Burnley job.
I know you're trying to gently wind me up, so I'll be serious. ;o)
I couldn't say if Leeds will or won't blow it, Shooters. I simply don't know.
And of course, nor does anybody else.
But promotion for them is certainly not a foregone conclusion, like most seem to think it is.
And Leeds might well stumble.
As for Norwich, as I said, they've got a good chance of promotion to the CCC.
Almost exactly the same chance as we have.
As it stands right now.

Doubt it will happen though.
