Hope Hoolohan goes but in terms of Cafc, would be gutted to see Racon leave and would rather see him go somewhere else than Plymouth who could possibly swap divisions with us. No disprespect to Plymouth, but Racon is capable of playing higher.
Like the idea of Puncheon or Noone ideally on loan till May
I didn't appreciate that actual transfer fees were involved.
Anyway, apart from a totally literal intepretation, what does "undisclosed fees" actually mean .....?
Why can't they be disclosed, what's the secret they're actually hiding?
good point Oggy - I've asked that on a couple of occaisions and not got a suitable reply.
RM said at a recent meeting that sale of Michael Turner from Hull to Sunderland was "undisclosed" and as we had a sell-on clause we asked the Premier League for the details........so, people do know the figures and must be in the public domain sowhy hide them.
[cite]Posted By: Chris_from_Sidcup[/cite]Has Puncheon gone back to Plymouth then? If not then why will he leave a loan at MK Dons to come to us on loan?
better chance of promotion I'd guess. Plus I'm sure living in London is preferably to MK.
CHARLTON will this week make a bid to extend David Mooney’s loan spell at The Valley until the end of the season.
The striker initially joined from Reading in October on a six-week deal, but that was extended and was due to expire on December 28.
Boss Phil Parkinson is keen to keep the 25-year-old in SE7, though he may need to persuade the Addicks board that paying the player’s wages until the summer will be money well spent, particularly as the Irishman is currently recovering from a knee injury.
Charlton sources have told the South London Press that financial restrictions mean the manager is unlikely to be able to keep both Mooney - who has scored two goals in seven starts for the club - and fellow striker Akpo Sodje, who is on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.
The South Londoners only have limited funds available and Parkinson may be forced to spend cash on cover at centre-back, with Christian Dailly injured and Sam Sodje in the middle of a four-game ban.
For the full story, see Tuesday's South London Press.
If we did have to choose one of Mooney and Sodje, I would prefer Mooney to stay. I wasn't at the Yeovil game though, so haven't seen Akpo on top form. Hope it's not an either/or question though. Will be interesting to see if Dicko gets the nod this Saturday - I think he deserves it after his performance at Brentford.

I would too but how long is mooney injured for? would have to weigh up what is more beneficial to the team
If we're keeping a newly reformed Chris Dickson who has a better attitude and wants to work for the team then we don't need both Mooney and Sodje anyway.
Maybe Parky could have been proved right after all re Dickson.
He said he needed to play regular games at this level and could return in January if needed. He said the same about Fleetwood although I've noticed he has dipped out of the Exeter team recently and can't see us asking for a recall.
As for priorities , Parky always said we needed an extra CB and Left sided midfielder pre season.
The loans of Mooney and Sodje effectively replaced Dickson, Fleetwood and Gray as we found ourselves light in that position particularly when Mackenzie never came in and we went 4 4 2 . I do not think anyone envisaged Dailly at 36 playing as well or for as many games as he has , he's certainly made many of us eat our words. I only wish he had been with us last year.
If Mooney can be fit within the next month , I would like Mooney before Sodje if not Akpo gets my nod . I suspect we could keep both if McLoed goes on loan somewhere.
Anyone spot that the "Beast" from Plymouth Argyle is now on loan to Oldham Athletic?
Timar was erm, involved a couple of seasons ago with 2 of our players suffering from cruciate ligament injury.
I bet our boys can't wait to face him again.

played out of position by once but still looked the man most likely to unlock us
nope centre midfield for mkdons
No one at all .....?
;o)
Has any Division One club paid an actual transfer fee for any player as yet ....?
And if not, which clubs in Division One have the actual financial clout to pay transfer fees in this window?
And Leeds if Beckford goes.
Narwich paid out two undisclosed fees today to turn loans into permanent 2.5 yr deals.
I didn't appreciate that actual transfer fees were involved.

Read somewhere Pardoo has a couple of offers for players being considered by unnamed clubs. Racon perhaps?

Didn't Southampton pay Bristol Rovers £1m for Lambert less than 7 days after they came ut of administration?
I bet those small creditors were happy.
Thanks, Addicted ...... I meant in this January transfer window, though.
