[cite]Posted By: BlackForestReds[/cite]Interesting, but won't HMRC have first call on any incoming revenue? Although presumably if he pays them off first then Aglio and not HMRC will serve the winding up order?
No. HMRC are no longer 'preferred' creditors of football clubs. Agilo will have first call on any monies raised, as the players are the collateral for their loan - however, they may defer any payment (as they did in September) as they are getting a tidy return on the loan repayments (poosibly as high as 20%!!!).
HRMC will serve a winding up order unless Jordan can talk his way around it though (or of course pay the oustanding amounts).
[cite]Posted By: BlackForestReds[/cite]It's ok, Moses will be sold in the transfer window and Jordan will survive. Although when news gets out that Palace are stony arsed skint he won't get anywhere near the market value.
Everybody in football is well aware of Jordans financial situation.
He simply HAS to sell 2 or 3 players in January at whatever price he can get.
Everyone in football except The Football League Show last night, who couldn't understand why Palace were talking up the selling of Moses.
I would want money up front (on a season upon season basis that is)....ALL of it in fact!
Or we get to pick any player we wish in order to pay the rent.....I well remember the John Humphrey scenario and Noades snidey comment made to me at Selhurst...."Well you have to pay the rent somehow."
[quote][cite]Posted By: Henry Irving[/cite]i think Charlton will save Palace by allowing them to rent the Valley when they are evicted from Selhurst.
Palace fans will be ever so grateful for our help I an sure.[/quote]
history shows teams that rent at selhurst either end up going home or starting again in milton keynes...if palace stop renting at selhurst they haven't got the option of going home...so plan b is probably more likely...now all they have to do is find a part of the country that hasn't got a team in the football league and sell the franchise...sorted

Selling Moses won't make any difference - the money they get goes straight to Agilo, who hold all the rights to the players. They are in serious trouble at the moment and I've heard that they may have already appointed an administrator. The players are more than a little unhappy about their wages again and Bristol City are looking at joining HMRC in the winding up petition tp be heard in a couple of weeks.
I've also been told that one of their major creditors has been touting around various options for their future - one of which rather sticks in the throat.

but that dish is best eaten cold or so the saying goes.
Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan is mulling over an offer for one of his players as the exodus out of Selhurst Park looks set to begin.
Unless a buyer is found for the club in the next fortnight, the Eagles will need to sell a number of their squad to raise much needed funds after they were forced to delay paying their players for the second month in a row.
Manager Neil Warnock has revealed he received an offer for one of his stars yesterday but has left it in the hands of Jordan to decide whether to let the player leave.
Starlet Victor Moses is the most sought after Eagle with Manchester City now having joined the race for his signature, while defender Jose Fonte was linked with a move to Sheffield United over the weekend.
"We have just had one definite offer so far," said Warnock.
"I have left it to the chairman to deal with and it's up to him."
[cite]Posted By: Steve Dowman[/cite]Its not just that which is painful though, to lose Jose to the spanners at the same time is pretty gut wrenching tbh!
Not a done deal yet though so will wait until it's on the OS. Plus I've heard he f******* hates them.

Six years on and he's alive and well and looking marginally less stupid in his predictions than Bush & BLiar. So what was the exit strategy?

On SSN this morning, colin said he may be forced to sell Moses.

(c) Get taken over by AEG
(d) get taken over by Gold and Sully
