love ur comments Henry and Addickted.. Jan is going to be very interesting for the Eagles..... think they will be in admin in the not too distant future... as a football fan i will sorrty for the stripey supporters... but for Jordan I hope he get what he is coming to..... I am more worried about football in general and the sates of finances throghout the whole country.. a Football Advisor from indepedent of the Football League and Premier League needs to do a complete review into the sate of finances.. I feel that action must be taken sooner rather than later. Sadly if will oly ever happen if heaven forbid Liverpool or Man Utd got relegated (yes i know it will never happen) otherwise we will be left with very few clubs which is saf for tootball

As you said, I'm afraid that Palace are just the first of many clubs who are in serious trouble.

Thankfully for fans at the moment unlike businesses, administration seems to be the worst thing that can happen, and the club would resurface under new management, and it's just the owners that take the hit. Now I now Simon isn't the most popular person on this site, and that he is guilty of the occasional porkie, but as a Palace fan, I feel that as well as his own interests, he always wanted the best for the club as well, and so I hope that he does manage to find new owners before his money is gone.

As I've said before budgie, I'd hate to see fellow football fans suffer because of the folly of one man, but I can't wait for Jordans downfall. I want to be there when it happens. I want to throw a tenner at him and shout 'dance for me tangoman'. I so want to rub his orange nose in it.

see budgie thats what irritates me about you, your a stripey i want to dislike you and get wound up by what you post but for the most i can not argue with it.

i too agree that he set out with good intentions and alot of the people he shook up and annoyed i proberly would have too, but he acted the big man the i am sir simon jordan and pissed everyone off, your team would have been saved by now if it was not for him imo, but the uncertainty of who or whom actually owns what with regards to shithurst is a huge problem for you

Hello Budgie.. nice of you come on here at least you like to have a good debate other than the mentailly retarded on here !! I have friends that like Millwall and others Palace.. ok we might not like each others teams but we all have one thing in common and that is football !! I agre we can't knock Jordan for his love of football club.. did the rot set in when Mark Goldberg took over (a case of heart rules head time?)

One thing i have experienced as this level Budgie (not just beacuse we are winning and we are second at the moment), but we are seeing good games of football.. some less than others. We are not seeing the Drogbas of the world thank god or the prima donnas but good honest pros and a lot of teams bar Oldham like to get the ball down and play. I have come away from games such as MK Dons, Southend etc thinking even if we had lost.. I have really enjoyed the football. On the downside you lose that money from the premier league (and that is the problem). The money is not being distributed fairly).

I would love to see a complete "collapse" of football and for it to be "re-invneted"

Although not personally, I have close friends who have been literally mugged by the man. I did once tell him that I may be a moron, but I've never had to go begging to my father to help me out financially - don't forget he was a failed waiter in the USA.

The man has absolutely no class and is nothing more than a bully.

Agree with NLA, he bigged himself up as the saviour not just of Palace but the crusader for truth and justice within football.

He attacked agents but was quite happy to have shares in an agency. He sacked Palace legend Steve Coppell as he saw him a rival for the love of the palace fans. He said he'd bought Selhurst and got one over Ron Noades but he lied. He slagged off the rest of football chairman as "tossers" but ran to Peter Varney for help with how to manage the consequences. And when Richard Murray famously said "Enjoy the Championship, your tosser" (people forget just why that word was used) he ran away without saying a word. Three months later he was shouting about it but at the time he said nothing.

But that is really all by and by. His biggest failing is to have not moved Palace forward one iota.

Murray et al can point to the Valley and 8 seasons in the Prem as the success they bought. For all their mistakes and our current position the crowds are higher and the facilities better. The fall has been painful but at least we had the rise to enjoy.

Jordan had one relegation season in the Prem. Selhurst is no better, bar a mortgaged jumbrotron, than the day he took over and the lease is actually worse.

He bought the club when they were in Admin and so had no debt. So the debt estimated to be over £30m has been built up achieving nothing.

Jordan is a fan but so was Goldberg. How is he remembered?

Refer to the Bailey thread. Maybe not Drogba league, but attempting to be.

Thanks for the kind words, as you say I can't see the point of coming onto a rivals site and just spouting rubbish, atm on the bbs we have a complete retard carlton dan (not your own charlton dan), and although a couple of his threads are quite funny, the majority are ridiculous.

With regard to Goldberg, he really was a case of being a fan with big ideas, and been unable to follow them through. Although he obviously failed, the person I blame 100% was the manager he appointed, with a ridiculous contract where he earned money on every transfer in or out, and we saw players of a very high calibre been replaced by journeymen, just so someones bank balance would increase.

As for Jordan, as Henry say's Palace havn't seen any improvements, but if it hadn't been for that game against Southampton, and we had been able to get another year in the Premiership, things may well have turned out differently.

I have Palace fans in my family (in laws). I will be sad for them if things go tits up. I won't shed one single tear for that no mark self-opinionated orange tinted bully.

So from what I read earlier, if the Palace players don't get paid by midnight Monday, ie 27 hours from now, they are all free agents and entitled to walk away, as their pay would be more than 14 days overdue :-)

    Evening Ladies

    Few comments and questions.

    1. We may be in financial trouble, but we are still 3 points off the playoffs and have had some shocking performances yet are still in contention.

    2. Some of you are wasting your time laughing at Palace fans as most of us have banded together and decided to accept it anyway. What's the point in wallowing in it, we were in shit 10 years ago and it was great fun as a fan.

I'd go on, but really don't want to waste it all in one post.

So, Charlton Dan. Still too embarrassed to come back on the BBS? Don't give what you can't take.

    Hmmm, is that it?

That's poor, that's very poor. I'd give you a 2/10 for that, but then I'm afraid I'm going to have to take one mark away due to the fact that you bigged yourself up and I was expecting better. Must try harder Nige.

    How would I know?

I went to pretty much every game that year. Home and away.

I was at Tranmere when we thought we were goners that week.

I was at Norwich when Dean Austin scored and my Dad got chucked out and promptly arrested for being drunk and standing in the ground.

I've been going to games regularly since I was 3. That's how i'd know what it's like.

    Yes? And? So? What?

Mate, if you think anyone on here gives a flying toss about Darren Ambrose then you are delusional.

He was a very poor player for us over a very long period, there was the odd moment of class but it was surrounded by a sea of mediocre, limp performances where he was always on the edge of the game.

He's gone from Premiership player with Newcastle and Charlton to a mid-table Championship player with your lot over the last five years, not exactly a brilliant career trajectory.

    .

family abuse results in child becoming stripey, you poor boy watching your drunken farther being escorted by the Narrwich police for his own safety, i am glad you feel proud enough of your fathers actions that you can freely talk about it on a internet forum, i hope if you are fortunate to have children that you take more pride in looking after them.

typical behaviour for a stripey clown

So Paul, what's you view on the document looking to raise £7.5m?

    Good business or an embarrasment?

Which five players do you think are referred to as being sold?

Ambrose, Moses, Carle, Clynne and Hill I heard but what do you think?

Do you think you'll go into administration?

When you leave Selhurst which ground would you prefer to share at?

    Cheers

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this but what strikes me is that this is a clear attempt to market the Beagles to an American market. Why would an American Million / Billionaire want to buy into that coz they're not exactly Arsenal, Villa Manyoo or Liverpool are they...
