    Not a transfer rumour, but an owner rumour. I saw this on a Sheffield Utd forum, in a thread about our signings:

    "To be fair if you're backed by the Dubai Royal Family you probably have the funds to restructure the club.

    It's taken 3 or 4 years but they are equipped to go up automatically. If us and the Pigs don't dent their prospects in the next fortnight, I expect them to go up automatically."

    to be fair, much more complimentary and realistic than their rivals. The last comment is bull though, United didn't really threaten us at Bramall Lane and I don't expect them to beat us on Saturday.

    They put in a 500k bid for Matt Ritchie at Swindon a month or ago and it was rejected. They don't have billions behind them (I think) but more than enough to bid for serious League One quality in the summer.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see Bournemouth sneak into the plays-offs. Only 4 points off Stevenage who are in 6th place

    A mate of mine was telling me today that we're going to bid 300k for Marshall from Barnet. Apparantly there was talk of it yday, cant say its the most reliable rumour but makes sense
