  • I initially had trouble filling the bath with very hot water from my combi boiler, but found that slightly reducing the flow from the hot tap meant the water came through a bit slower and thus had a chance to get properly hot - give that a go.
Mine is a ten year old ideal (not a great reputation but I've only had one small thermistor problem with it in three years)

Already tried that , no joy.
  • Vodafone trying to call me to discuss my complaint about people not being able to hear me on phonecalls.

You can probably guess how that went.

"Hello? Hello? HELLO?!.... I'M CALLING FROM VODAFONE... CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" etc.

    Simpletons.

Retail stores who ask for your postcode and address when you take something back for a refund. They do it on the basis of "preventing fraud" , but I dont give a monkeys. You are not having my personal details when I am only exercising something which is a statutory right. !!

    Just give a different one.

I have a Worcester combi which must be over 20 years old. It's on its last legs and they no longer make the parts for it but can fill a hot bath just fine.

Had a combi at a previous address that struggled with baths. I found turning the heating on 20 minutes before running the taps would do the trick.

Might not be far off the mark there as this morning I had a shower and it was the hottest one yet , the heating had been on for a couple of hours by that point.

In our old house if you put the immersion on it was hotter than Gemma Arterton when she was on the red carpet that time spilling out of that dress

She said she'd like to bathe in milk, he said, "All right, sweetheart,"
And when he'd finished work one night he loaded up his cart.
He said, "D'you want it pasturize? 'Cause pasturize is best,"
She says, "Ernie, I'll be happy if it comes up to my chest."
  • Long chapters in books, the one I’m going through at the mo is 99 pages long, why?

If you have ocd like me, I tend to like reading from chapter to chapter but 99 pages, come on, driving me nuts!

  • That there's all these takeover shenanigans occurring (or are they) yet there's still a thread on the poxy NFL right up near the top, I mean sheesh kebabs, that's the one thing that would get me watching cricket......
  • Sitting there for a good couple of hours last night, earphones in, compiling a blinding playlist to play in my workshop today and then rejecting the first 5 / 6 tracks...

Going back to Gold fm ffs

Remember Magic Fm playing I Wanna Go Home by Bubble years back. Ive never go so angry about the intro to a song.

For my last few years working in the UK, my go to station was Classic Fm

  • People who take their mobile phones into the gym at busy times and then sitting on machines I am waiting to use reading their phones.

Not a gym type person, but that would annoy the hell out of me too. Twats.
  • People who take their mobile phones into the gym at busy times and then sitting on machines I am waiting to use reading their phones.

I'm really at a loss to see how that would ever be acceptable. I can understand having a phone in the gym to listen to music but not to sit and play with.

Ask them to move. Used to get this all the time in Eltham gym. Drives you nuts.

Paying the very reasonable 4 quid at Halfords to do a job I detest, fitting wiper blades. Then the fitting anus making a royal pigs ear of it and having to fit them myself, then the little toad asking for the 4 quid still!

Reasonable? £4 quid for a 2 minute job. That's £120 an hour for unskilled labour. Daylight robbery.

    Peddling really really slowly, tossers.
