Due diligence over the transfer window... KR is in the Parkinson position right now... We lost out on Puncheon AND a takeover that season, who could it be that we miss out on this time?
As someone that works out in the field (as a solar engineer quite literally sometimes) I hate coming into the office. No idea how people do it on a daily basis.

My Office in London is a great place to work but its bloody vicious!!
When you need to use the lifts... Rather than getting in one and pressing the button, you have to go to this console screen and press the floor you want with the screen telling you which lift to get into - the amount of times I get an electric shock from the console is unreal (pretty much a daily basis)
Its not a light shock either, if I need a shock to save my life one day, just stick my finger on there and I'll be back to normal again!!
At my previous job, our lift panel did exactly the same. Certainly woke me up in the morning! And it was a new building. Even worse when coming back from the bar underneath it
I used to get a massive shock off my old sierra back in the day. My daughter then about 6 travelled in a car seat so my wife would unstrapping her from the seat and removing associated bags from the back of the car. I would always hold my daughters hand, when my wife had shut the door I would do that silly smile that dads do when talking to very young daughters and say "now hold mummy's hand" just as I touch the key back to the car. Watching my wife breakdance across the driveway was a sight to behold, sadly central locking saw its downfall.

My old boss used to be electrocuted by the coat stand every day. What he didn't know was that my daily morning routine was to scrape my feet on the nylon carpet next to it for five minutes.
Karma came and brought its friends. Just went down a plastic slide at a soft play. Pretty sure my pubes are straight now.
Don't mind it in principle. And it works quite well within my team and our area. What annoys me is that occasionally someone from a completely different team comes and sits in our area. A) there is no need your area is completely empty and it means that someone from my team won't be able to sit with the rest of us. B ) why eat your fecking breakfast all over the desk and keyboard. It's fecking disgusting. It's us that have to sit there next week. You will jog off to your own area. Twat

I would bollock people for that, tender, subtle, passive aggressive comments like "I bet your house is fucking diagusting' when you notice the mess. Or "You must live like an utter pig".
No excuse for leaving a workplace filthy, be that a van or a desk
Having just moved house to one that has one I've remembered why I hate them, it's impossible to have a hot bath, water just does not heat up enough.
The new ones are excellent, just had a new extension and the builder put in a great combi with a 7 year guarantee, about the only thing the helmet did right.

I love combi boilers, no waiting for hot water, can have an hour long shower if the mood takes me or run a bath so hot you could cook vegetables in it.
The one in my old gaff was brilliant, and I really regret not stumping up and putting one in my current home when I did the kitchen
Another vote in support of combi boilers. You must have an old one Buckshee, had new ones installed in my current place and my previous place, they fully meet my requirement to be able to have a dangerously hot shower in the middle of winter.
I have a Worcester combi which must be over 20 years old. It's on its last legs and they no longer make the parts for it but can fill a hot bath just fine.
Had a combi at a previous address that struggled with baths. I found turning the heating on 20 minutes before running the taps would do the trick.
Retail stores who ask for your postcode and address when you take something back for a refund. They do it on the basis of "preventing fraud" , but I dont give a monkeys. You are not having my personal details when I am only exercising something which is a statutory right. !!
Got on the 286 bus at Greenwich yesterday, which is a single decker and the driver allowed a couple with FIVE full size suitcases to get on which caused chaos, nobody could get on or off it took the best part of 50 minutes to get to The Standard despite the traffic being relatively light. Two things, Why did the driver allow them on in the first place? and if I had five cases I would have got a taxi. Bloody madness.

The water in the kitchen gets so hot I could boil and egg in it but for some reason once it travels the short distance to the bathroom it’s alright for showers (which mostly I would rather have) but a hot bath? Forget about it.

Might not be far off the mark there as this morning I had a shower and it was the hottest one yet , the heating had been on for a couple of hours by that point.
In our old house if you put the immersion on it was hotter than Gemma Arterton when she was on the red carpet that time spilling out of that dress

Same as Palace stopping Man City scoring for the first time in the league & keeping their first clean sheet to boot.

Mine heats the water up nicely - gives that nice pink glow to the skin that you only notice once you're out.

Worcester Bosch and Vaillant are the best ones.
