    FAQs on the home page

    Anyone read this?
Thre is a time limit of 3hours 15 mins and then the roads will reopen. Anyone not finished by then should move onto the pavement... a sweep vehicle will follow the last runner and collect anyone needing assistance!

3hr15 is equivalent to the walking pace of an average adult (about 4mph)

  • I'm worried which hill they are coming up - I assume it is lower road then up to Shooters Hill.....this sounds like bad news!
  • No chance running up shooters hill. St Johns Ambulance wouldnt cope.

  • Thank gawdness for that.

I'm fine on flat ground - the slightest incline and wheezing soon starts. Still, this thread inspired to a flat 10km run today.
  • just looked at the route, obviously it starts at o2, then up lower road, woolwich road etc, up to woolwich/plumstead, then it must come up a hill a bit, maybe near the hospital? then along charlton village, is that the buildings that are 3d on the pic? then along to blackheath standard, towards blackheath, through greenwich park (downhill) and then round cutty sark then back along greenwich towards the dome. is that more or less right?
  • click the route map on the page. gives you a rough idea.

    route
  • the third building suzi... i thought that was a cannon?
  • [cite]Posted By: Curb_It[/cite]the third building suzi... i thought that was a cannon?

Funny looking cannon! I thought it was a church? Not very clear is it...
  • could be and that would make sense running round the barracks. my legs ache reading about it.
  • Scrub that - have just zoomed in on it... it's a building, looks like the Royal Artillery Barracks to me...
  • Woolwich Arsenal?
  • I think it comes up the hill as far as Ha Ha Road
