Thought it was lovely that the players had Ethan’s name and a heart on their tops. Must have meant a lot to the family.
I've probably missed it, but are there any close up photos of the shirt from yesterday?
I just noticed on the BBC interview with Harvey

Knibbs scoring a goal every 16 minutes.
    That’s the title sorted.

    Business usual:

    Clean sheet ✅
    Relentless in the press ✅
Kept going right to the end as the opposition tired ✅
    Jones is a monster ✅
Ramsay making it look easy ✅
    Coventry everywhere✅
    No way past Edwards ✅

Plus encouraging debuts from a lively Carey and Apter and a debut goal for the Knibbster.

Not sure how good Watford are but a very encouraging start. Sweet to be the only promoted team to win on the opening day.

Oh and how much more entertaining is Championship football?!? Brings home what a slog League One has been.
Not sure how i added to your post above.l agree chsmpionship is way better than league one

Take a look at the movement of Lloydy in this clip (11-20 secs). Excellent.
That is excellent and also brilliant from docherty who confuses them by ignoring his marker and grabbing jones marker to enable Jones to do what he wants, nice set play
What that showed as you said was the player who was pushing and shoving with Jones was then blocked off by Doc just as the corner was taken taking him out of the equation completetly. It was very clever and sneaky. Doc just stepped in. :)

Who was the player who shifted the ball left on the edge of the box up the other end, had a clear sight of goal, *Shoot" from the fans and he pushed it wide to TC or was it Edwards?  Came to nothing.

My biggest takeaway from the game was that irrespective of the goal we looked stronger than them in the last 10 minutes. That bodes really well for the rest of the season.

    There’s Strong.

    Then there’s Charlton strong.

Think it was Docherty if I am thinking of the same chance, but from my seat I don't think it was clear enough chance as bodies were in the way. If we had lost possession would have been in real trouble during the counter attack .

It was Docherty. Trying to engineer a shot on his left foot and when he decided to go for it the ref was in his way.

I was pleased to read a number of comments on Twitter asking questions like how can I team from league one with fitter and stronger than the end of the game? We were dead on our feet and yet they looked fresher.

that’s what we are all about

As a side issue, did anybody else hear that bunch of Watford fans in Floyd Road after the game singing:-
"We lost last week and we lost today,
We lose at home and we lose away..."
I didn't catch the next bit, but they didn't sound happy  :D

They were singing “Back to back relegations!” at London Bridge. And that was before the game!
I'd assume they were singing about Luton suffering back to back relegations.

Surprised there haven't been more posts castigating Lord Conor for almost hitting a corner straight out of play in the 94th minute ;)
While it was in the air I said to my daughter, ‘Well that’s a waste of a corner’.

Back to back, back to back I say
Back to back, back to back relegations
Playing football the Luton way - SHIT! 🎶

Ah probably. But they weren’t a happy lot. One group were singing about Tom Cleverly and another lot were telling them to move on. They were very respectful of the remembrance applause though, to be fair.

As the rumours thread is full of post-match analysis, can we have some rumours here?

Think we are going to have to take our chances when offered, great to get the win and I look it as 3 points on the board and 42 more to go to be safe be great to get to that point sooner rather than later.

Deserved the win Watford were awful that Being said a slip up from our goalie nearly gifted them a goal.

I assume the balloon release by the young lads in their kit were Ethan's team mates. Found that very poignant.
