Only 4 points behind my predicted points for this point in the season.2

Have we got SCP's Charlton back?Addick Addict said:26 points in the last 11 matches. Difficult to argue with that and no one can say that this side, regardless of the match situation do not give their all for 96 minutes or even more.
Winning by the odd goal was his promotion sides' specialty.
We still feel just a bit fragile. Are we good or is it luck? I don't give a ****?
If the points keep coming, who knows?3 -
The exact type of games you need to force a win when going for promotion. Well happy with that. UTA.8

I wish I had your confidence Golfie... (Wait... WHAT!!) - this is a tight bitch of a league and find that both League One and League Two can be very different to the rest of the Football League in terms of form - Teams can be ignored when they're mathematically out of contention.golfaddick said:
Some real big 6-pointers coming up before the end of March.LenGlover said:Looking at the table @Dazzler21 posted on the match thread Orient is a real 6 pointer we mustn't lose now.
Away to Stockport & Orient
Home to Huddersfield & Barnsley.
Dare I say it.....any team on 40 points are now irrelevant to us.0 -
Had a bit of a shit day tbh, and looking like we'd drop two points here would pretty much have topped it off.
Well done lads for giving me something to finally put me in a good mood before bed.
(no Viagra jokes please)19 -
What you love to see. Dunno what do you think only 9 points of Wycombe now!!

On another day, we would have been out of sight in the first 45. Massive to have dug out a win in the last 4 mins. Hopefully the team has a real boost from this.1
-
We made it a bit hard for ourselves at times but deserved the victory. Great header from Gillesphey.4

I kind of agree and disagree. We need only focus on the next game. Last game is done and we need 3 points Saturday now to keep in it.ForeverAddickted said:

Really good three points - finding a way to win matches like that is what you need to do if you want to be promoted

Looked like one of those games where we dominated, but no matter what happened, the ball just wasn’t going to go in. Everything we threw at them was blocked, saved or ricocheted away.
Then there was a weird ten minutes where we got an iffy pen, they got a red card, then they got an iffy pen (contact outside area, I thought?) Once the dust had settled, we returned to the previous scenario: Domination, unbelievable lack of goals.
Then, out of nowhere, we find out one of our loan signings is actually the best taker of a corner at the club and the club scapegoat put a perfect header away for the winner.
Couldn’t write the script, but it’s standard fare these days. 😎10 -
in a typical Charlton performance we laboured to win against 10 men just to set up a comfortable win against the league leaders on Saturday0
-
50 points off 30 games, our total after 30 games in 2018 19 was 54, remarkable that we're even close given the start we had4

I hate Peterborough and I hate that ref. Well done Charlton you bloody deserved that.10
-
Oh and fair play Macca. Played well last couple of games. Maybe he just needed the competition.8

We’ve given Birmingham two really decent games so far this season - It would be dreamy if we did the double in the league over them.12

I've been in hospital very poorly since last week, all I could do was listen to the game on CATV, and I'm delighted I did. I forgot about my pain for a few hours and started planning, in my head, a trip to Wembley. We're on a roll, NJ has remarkably turned our season around, added 2 players of quality and built a solid foundation.
I feel so much better tonight, thanks to CAFC.

Should have been three up at half time but for the post, Campbell's awful attempt at a finish and some rotten luck. Second half, anxiousness spread to a lot of players, luckily Jones, Docherty and Coventry kept their heads and Gillisphey gets the goal that his recent form deserves. The players and supporters are seeing every game as a cup final and they come no bigger than Saturday's game against Birmingham, need steady heads to help our younger players through to the end of the season. Special mention for two players, Edun, I thought, was outstanding for Peterborough, never took his eyes and boots off Small. Secondly, Gilbert, his first touch and eye for a pass was excellent and deservedly got an assist with an arrowed corner for Gillisphey to score.10

Delighted for Macca was absolutely immense defensively tonight.
Gilbert looks absolutely quality too
wouldn’t mind having Ricky Jade-Jones, bloody handful5 -
We are looking like we believe in ourselves. Not the best performance but we dug out 3 points. Gilbert looks really good and Godden/Berry are showing class even if neither can last 90 minutes. Start using the squad as I think we might do well if we get to the play offs. Would like to see a little more from Miles and Campbell looks as though he needs a rest.
Well done NJ and the boys and let’s go and frustrate the hell out of Birmingham this weekend.2 -
Decent first half performance when we could have been 2 or 3 up. Found it difficult 2nd half when they went down to 10 men but we kept knocking on the door and eventually it opened. 50 points now on the board which looked a mile away 2 months ago, probably need another 25 or so from here to make the Play-Offs. To clarify, the double jeopardy rule counts if Ramsay makes a challenge for the ball. Ref says he did, Ferguson felt he didn't.

Ferguson says he understands why Fernandez was sent off. #cafc #pufc5 -
Confidence beginning to ooze through the side.
Never give up.
Still a lack of quality in the final third.
TC harasses the hell out of people but 1 goal and 1 assist in 26 league games isn't good enough return
Gillesphey great header but he was all over the place first half hour.
Gilbert looks decent on the ball. Great corner for the goal.
Connor and the Captain are beginning to show their worth.
Lloyd Jones was excellent.
Godden looked sharp.
Dare I say it. The play offs look very reachable.
I would still like Dizzie replaced. Hoping the new signing adds a little bit more quality defensively.
