How Likely Are You To Take The Covid Vaccine?

$600k is a small amount, how much funding came from elsewhere?shine166 said:
I'm not surprised at the money in the covid vaccine, the apocalypse had started and there were profits to be made.Friend Or Defoe said:$600k isn't state funding. For comparison they spent over $30bn on research for the covid vaccine.
Without getting all fact twisty:
America 'donated' 600k to a lab
Said lab does gain of function research on bats
Said lab is in wuhan
Ground zero for covid is in wuhan
A bat in wuhan magically contracted covid
Global pandemic0 -

The amount of money is irrelevant. They helped fund it and lied about it.... it happened. The fact... that these facts are completely ignored by so many, shows you how easy it is to cover something up and make people think it came from a wild bat in a market. Infact it's not really been covered up, it's just that the untruths have been shared further and shouted the loudest.Friend Or Defoe said:

Another attempt to show you how insignificant the amount is, remember it wasn't direct from the US either.
The National Science Foundation received $856,000 in funding from the Federal Government to conduct a study to see if it is possible to train Lions to walk on a treadmill1 -
what does that have to do with anything? What role are you saying lions had in covid???Friend Or Defoe said:Another attempt to show you how insignificant the amount is, remember it wasn't direct from the US either.

As said above, the amount of money is irrelevant - it's about what was done with it and was covered up.
I don't understand how you can laugh at people who are anti vax but at the same time will happily look the other way about the lab that was factually there in the actual ground zero of the virus- absolutely baffling and equally stupid.
I'm not anti the vaccine by the way.0 -
People won't believe it until someone actually comes out and admits how it started, so they will be waiting a very long time. They will believe it was started from bat soup so me, you and many others are just merely conspiracy theorists to them 🙄shine166 said:

America's role in a lab accident is insignificant.Manic_mania said:

Some very interesting Covid data here if anyone cares to read through. All sorts about the use of masks, vaccines etc.

Another anti-vax, anti-mask, anti-lockdown site.
A quick look at the Twitter (X) posts on Joseph Hickey tells you everything you need to know about the people behind this site. There are claims that there are 17m excess deaths due to the vaccines, but totally ignore the effects of the virus itself.

More than 4m Tube journeys were made during one day last week, marking the highest number since the pandemic.
Transport for London (TfL) confirmed the figure was recorded on Thursday 23 November, with 24.8m Tube journeys completed throughout the week.
It said ridership was returning to pre-pandemic levels, with Tube journeys up 7.6% on the equivalent day last year.

I dip in and out of this thread.
But a comment or observation call it what you will.
If you think the vaccine will cause you or your family harm THEN DONT HAVE IT!
BUT , if through your choice of not being vaccinated you become unwell and need treatment, then folks you are at the back of the queue.
I lost a much valued colleague, just prior to the vaccine rollout, so you half wits that know more than Nobel prize winners are just living in a fantasy world of UFOs and Lizard Queens20 -
Please tell me what this data actually shows and how you interpret it. I am genuinely interested. Don’t just repeat an assumption from Andrew Bridgen. Actually analyse the data and tell me what your expert view of what it means.PeanutsMolloy said:And other age groups 18~69:

otherwise this is just pointless numbers.12 -
Looks like one of those strips I had to put in our pop up pool to test whether additional chemicals were required.
The pool that sat dormant all summer and left a great circular mess of my lawn.5 -
All the statistics in the world won't prove cause and effect, or indeed conspiracy.
Some people who had received doses of various Covid vaccines have subsequently died of/with covid - doesn't mean the vaccines don't work. The statistics never eliminate the comorbidities, can't show that covid was the final straw in an inevitable decline.
The vast difference in mortality between vaccinated and unvaccinated is obvious to all. Before you add in the similarly vast difference in the incidence of long term consequences from covid infection in those who caught it before/without vaccine and those of us who caught it after we'd been vaccinated.
A laboratory may have been researching corona type viruses in various mammal species. There is a covid outbreak in the locale of that lab - doesn't mean the virus came from the lab. a Lab leak probably can't be ruled out but coincidence isn't the same thing as fact.
Covid19 initially appeared to be a respiratory problem and was treated that way almost exclusively. 3 years on it is much clearer that covid19 can have very significant and wide ranging impacts on the subject's immune system. Cause of death and long term consequences very often related to blood clotting and vascular damage from the body's own immune reaction. For a not insignificant minority covid19 was never 'a bad dose of flu', it was an unprecedented disruptor to the immune system.

Certainly seems like there is an increased risk. Think it says around 6 cases per million vaccinations or around 0.001% GBS is a rare (and horrible condition) and the figures suggest that this makes it very slightly less rare. Roughly if the valley was full for every league game with people who had the AZ vaccine there would be around 2 cases every season.Covered End said:0 -
Between this, the cashless and ULEZ thread, it’s a good way to find the absolute cranks on this forum11

The crank percentage is way higher than I expected.

No, it’s not because of you posting that link.Covered End said:I hope no one is suggesting I am a crank for linking an article from the Daily Telegraph.6 -
This is nonsense, and probably best not to spread this stuff around without researching the credibility of the people behind it. And worth avoiding anything that quotes Andrew Bridgen - he is the ultimate crank, a ridiculous, but dangerous individual. Disappointed that @PeanutsMolloy falls for it again.buckshee said:Some very interesting Covid data here if anyone cares to read through. All sorts about the use of masks, vaccines etc.

Dr Aseem Malhotra interview:
One for the 'cranks' or 'Those people who simply have a different perspective to the majority that unquestioningly accept spoon-fed, pharmaceutical industry sponsored vaccine orthodoxy'.
