The top two in the Championship are a league apart, then you have Luton (massive credit to them) and Boro and a fair gap to the others. Blackburn have a negative goal difference FFS! That doesn't mean one of those two will win the play offs but it does show this is a season where you don't have to be great to make them.

4 points will suffice I reckon and they’ll do that comfortably
Blackpool have to win, scum will pick them off
    blackburn are lamer than us
No chance. We’ll lose to Blackpool then beat Blackburn when there’s nothing riding on it

But if Millwall do get 4 points then Sunderland will only need 4 points too and Coventry will only need 3 as Millwall are extremely unlikely to overtake them on goal difference.

Sunderland have Watford at home (3 wins out of their last 17 matches) and Preston away who, by that time, will have almost certainly absolutely nothing to play for - unless they happened to have beaten Sheffield United away in their penultimate game. Coventry have Birmingham at home (nothing to pay for) and Middlesbrough away who will, no doubt, rest some of their players for the Play Offs - Akpom with his 28 Championship goals was an unused sub against Luton so the EFL can't pull them up for not playing him in the final game of the season.

Looking at the fixtures, it’s Sunderland’s spot to lose. Some cracking match ups on the last day
  • Took them two months to get Millwall out last time they got to Wembley!

Millwall don't suit Wembley. They fight each other there.
  • I’m hoping Millwall fall short but there would be something warming if they were to meet Sunderland at Wembley and lose.

The way the top 10 have been playing Sunderland will lose to Watford (who have nosedived of late & cant realistically make the play offs) and draw with Preston. Millwall will beat both Blackpool & Blackburn & sneak 6th.

Usually there is a team on a great run who sneak into the play offs but this time anyone who has the chance to grab 6th lose. WBA last night, Blackburn the night before. Both on really bad runs. Only Coventry & Sunderland seem to have grasped the nettle. Even 'Wall have slipped up of late - and you just know that wont continue.

  • Anyone who listened to Chris Wilder's rant last week will know Watford are a mess and seemingly their season can't end soon enough. The game after his rant they lost again.

Sunderland will therefore definitely lose at home to them on Saturday.

Could see Watford getting relegated next season if they don’t sort themselves out pre season

I spent much of my youth working in my grandparents shops in New Cross and Deptford and could have become a Millwall supporter, but I didn't. However I have a sneaking admiration for their current efforts and wish them well.

It’s done , can’t see anything but scum win tonight
Blackpool will leave too many gaps having to push forward for a win and filth pick em off 2-0
Thinking of getting some pain insurance (and ignoring my gambling exile) 11-8 to make play offs and 11 to 1 to win them
money I’ll happily lose for them to fail . Although there is no amount of money that could numb my suffering if the spawny filth got promotion .

Fcuk , just remembered eldest has invited his girlfriend over tonight for dinner , I’ve never met her
not gonna be a good look when she reports back to her parents ‘his dad is constantly swearing watching the football and running towards the tv giving wanker signs and foaming at the mouth whilst being grumpy at everyone and he broke down in tears and launched the remote at the Tv ‘
it’s not a good look , they bring out the worst in mankind
Just tell her you’ve got Tourette’s or something.

    This will take some beating.

  • Millwall are not free scoring but they do seem hard to beat. That should be enough for them to bide their time and get a winner as Blackpool inevitably push forward. My prediction 0 - 2

Early goal from Blackpool and the blunt attack can't find its shooting boots, the lights go out on the pleasure beach and also the Premiership candle

    @lancashire lad certainly is.

He's in the spanners end now wearing a Charlton top.

I will be interesting to see Zach Mitchell's older brother, Billy, especially as he plays in the same position that I understand Zach's is being used in our U21s.
