Shelvey would be the best player in the league by an absolute country mileLTKapal said:Theoretical question because obviously it’s not happening but the obsession over past players has me curious.
would you take a end of career winding down jonjo shelvey ala like we did with Harry Arter?3 -
I think he also earns more than the rest of the first team squad put together every weekPelling1993 said:

It’s Mitrovic, saved you a click.king addick said:23 -
Anyone else done the quiz at the end? I selected loss for all teams except doncaster and got 56%king addick said:0 -
Left footed too which would be handyking addick said:0 -
You would like to think we'd be the preferred option given proximity and that Sessegnon is already here (plus Cheltenham aren't exactly smashing up the league themselves) so that's good. Plus a left footed CB is probably fairly high on the priority list.king addick said:
Age does count against him somewhat but possibly a case of beggars can't be choosers.1 -
Another CB would mean we have too many CBs, with Inniss, O'Connell, Lavelle and Thomas all under contract plus Ness and the other youngsters, so I imagine we'd look to move one on. Unless Holden REALLY wants to play 3 at the back as his main system0

I don't really now why but the thought of Thomas negotiating with Tony Khan makes me laugh. Yes I know neither would actually be involved but still...king addick said:2 -

Sounds like a very athletic chap and highly thought of. Personal ambition to win a World Cup as a Scot is a bit pie in the sky though!!Valley11 said:7 -
Bowat could be the new Bowyer.
Could he be he the mystery man singing in the cafe with the Dad of someone on social media?
And do I care ?1 -
Lavelle seems surplus to requirements at this stagekillerandflash said:Another CB would mean we have too many CBs, with Inniss, O'Connell, Lavelle and Thomas all under contract plus Ness and the other youngsters, so I imagine we'd look to move one on. Harvey Knibbs would be worth a look1

Hopefully roomates Lavelle and Kirk are both goners quite soon.4

Chucks could go on The Masked Player and NOT wear a mask and nobody would recognise him. Fans would be confused that he was playing and be nonplussed. Only people that would be able to spot him would be the physio's.carly burn said:
Chuks is going on the Masked Singer isn't he?PWADDICK said:
Anyone know any tall black players?
(Subject to medical)
Joking aside, Chuks COULD be a great player at league one and good at championship, but will only ever be average at best due to his poor fitness record. That said if he was fit for 46+ games a season, he wouldn't be at Charlton.3 -
If not,.just lock the door of the room.mendonca said:Hopefully roomates Lavelle and Kirk are both goners quite soon.
And throw away the key.2 -

And throw away the key.Ron Dangerfield to Lavelle, Kirk etc after they’re left off our EFL squad list:

Wonder if we have got first dibs on Knibbs or if we will get outbid?0 -
It was good to see Ness start against Portsmouth. Inniss and Lavelle against Raggett and Morrison would have been a battle of the snails. Ness performance now surely elevates himself above Lavelle so if Oconnell and Thomas are not far off fitness Lavelle can go.2
-
Innis is probably equally likely to be the spare given his injury and discipline issues. At his best he's definitely better than Lavelle but he's either injured or suspended so often he is probably not worth the money and aggravation at this point.MintoHumbugs said:It was good to see Ness start against Portsmouth. If we do have some money behind us this month we should go for Victor Adeboyejo from Burton Albion. Only 24 years old and has 11 goals this season for a poor side. Might be difficult to get him as it will probably relegate them so maybe one for the summer0

Gutted, another one slipped through our fingers.

Gave this club my word…and they paid 80 trillion quid for it (or whatever he’s on)0

How many games has Thomas played for us, yet another false economy player signed. I would let him go before Lavelle and yes I know it would be easy to improve on Lavelle but keeping players that are never fit to play is why we keep having half a squad available to play.MintoHumbugs said:It was good to see Ness start against Portsmouth.
