Flash forward to 2028bobmunro said:soapboxsam said:Is Gallen, Martin and Thomas Sandgaard the three man committee who will pick the next manager with Thomas having the casting vote. I can't see any one else getting involved.Don't worry. I've heard it's Tommy and Martin Sandgaard, Gallen and Burger Boy as the committee. In the event of a split 2-2 decision, Thomas Driesen has the casting vote.
Driesen : and here is a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation where I said Jurgen Klopp would have been a good choice to replace Jackson but nobody listened to me.
(nothing like an old joke 😊).0 -
No, because it's a load of old bollocks.SouthLondonisRed said:Am I only the one that is quite shocked Bowyer is way up as he is in the bookies market?0 -
Mark Bowen has left Wimbledon and has got a job in a higher league ................ us? Or is this another past player we do not want?0
-
Don't think Bowen is coming to us, the wording of the statement suggests Championship

Looks like Bowen is going back to Reading in an executive role.

I get something right at last and @Dazzler21 hasn't got a list 🤬MarcusH26 said:Looks like Bowen is going back to Reading in an executive role.

Taylor still 9/2 with William Hill but now 2/1 with BetVic0

Jackson 1/2 to be next AFC Wimbledon manager-I’d imagine Euell will go with him too. I can also see Pearce signing for them too if he does go there1

I would be gob smacked if all 3 ended up together.Red_Chester said:Jackson 1/2 to be next AFC Wimbledon manager-I’d imagine Euell will go with him too. I can also see Pearce signing for them too if he does go there1 -
Think the same. I genuinely can not see Euell going to be assistant or coach at a league 2 club…manager yes, but not with Jackson as his number 2.Cafc43v3r said:

Where are the manager odds in the William hill app anyone can’t find em?0
-
euell has applied for the manager a job there the previous two times and (obviously) didn't get it. If he thinks he can be manager, doubt he will go to be assistant3

Found it. Taylor 9/2 bet placed 👍🏻BR7_addick said:Where are the manager odds in the William hill app anyone can’t find em?0 -

Both hilarious as a reflection of what probably one request and half decent stake can do to a Next Manager market; and depressing as I wonder how many other professional clubs who are looking for a manager currently have a son of their owner with no football experience even listed let alone 12/1!Scoham said:1 -
Sorry, that was me.Scoham said:
I went into my local William Hills & asked for odds on MS & was quoted 25's. Bit their hands off tbh.6 -
Why not Watford will sack him before we announce anyone else.......ForeverAddickted said:

That is interesting JR.
Who is their favourite as before the announcement, the ITK acquaintances pile on.
The worse kept secret where I live many years ago was Pardew taking over at Newcastle. It was a delayed announcement as the Geordies beat Sunderland 5-0 so there was a delay of about 5 weeks until Newcastle started losing again !0 -

Once the stakes start going higher even if the bet has been placed from a customer in Scotland( Weegie ?!) the alarm bells start ringing.
Bob Munro is the expert.
Odds on when down to half a dozen or so names then it will probably be Matt Taylor.0 -
C'mon Bob , you must have a hot tip!

Might well be Taylor but I think the betting is a reflection of the rumours rather than any reality. Seems we’ve already decided its him whether it’s him or not. Betting reflecting that.1
