Did they just slap some seats over the old terracing?Exiled_Addick said:

I thought they were going to move to the Commonwealth Games Stadium.HastingsRed said:

They built new structures over the rubble of the old terrace.HastingsRed said:

Shame always liked going to St Andrews, a bit on the rough side but better then an athletics stadium.Richard J said:

You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.

Bowyer, Taylor, Phillips...money chasers who hardly set the league above up on fire.2

Usual story. Any player that signs for Charlton from a smaller/lower team is obviously doing it for the love of the club, but any good player that leaves us for a bigger/higher team is a money grabbing judas.mendonca said:Bowyer, Taylor, Phillips...money chasers who hardly set the league above up on fire.24 -
And if they join us they’re showing ambition, if they leave they weren’t that good anyway.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Those three are all competing in the Championship, why do they need to set the league on fire to justify leaving?7 -

Surely, if true, with the owners reputation that’s just naive.5
-
He knew exactly what he was getting into.
Always has an excuse doesn’t he? Always someone else’s fault.18 -
Out of the fat and into the frying pan, surely everyone in football knew Birmingham were a basket case at the time, surely it’s down to due diligence on the managers part?3

“Maybe I'm gullible, but the reason I say when I leave this club, whenever I leave this club, is that I know I have done everything I said I would do.
“I can honestly say I have done that.”
I don't think anyone would accuse Bowyer of being "gullible". He's as streetwise as anyone. Which is why nothing that ever happens untoward at any club he's managed has ever been his fault including the fact that Birmingham have won less games than any team in the division bar two. The likes of Derby, Hull, Blackpool, Reading, Bristol City etc etc have all done better in that respect and they haven't got a bean to rub together between them either.

If Birmingham are genuinely brassic, then he’s trying to jump ship, rather than having another relegation on his hands next season.0

He probably knows he's on the way out the door so is past the point of caring how the owners react.FishCostaFortune said:Surely, if true, with the owners reputation that’s just naive.
The timing of his move from us to them definitely felt like him jumping before being pushed. It wasn't a case of him being lured away with the promises of riches.
He's not stupid and I doubt he genuinely believed what they told him - he'll have been aware of the ownership's reputation. That doesn't mean he can't use it to his advantage now.
It's all about maintaining an image/reputation so he can get a crack at another job.6 -
Genuinely dislike the bloke.
wasnt keen whilst he was here, but benefit of the doubt whilst here.
all the bravado, somewhat bullying players, the bollocks that he’s “a winner” and doesn’t do losing!
he’s gone to brum thinking he’ll have plenty of money to buy who he wants (aka his mates from Charlton) rather than working hard5 -

I didn't realise that Birmingham are only outside the relegation places is because both reading and derby have had points deducted.Second full season as a championship manager and he has got lucky0

He'll be back in League One next season if he goes0
-
He got us promoted so I will always like him plus he was a winner and scorer when we beat Millwall last century 😳😳
Be interesting to see where he ends up next season, it ain’t going to be at BCFC.9 -
hope he brings Lyle back with him !!!jacob_CAFC said:He'll be back in League One next season if he goes4 -
