Andrew obviously still has us on his mind though as in his tweet yesterday. Really hoping he gets involved at some stage. Think atm TS is loving all the adulation & not sure he wants to share it yet! 🤔0

I’ve no idea what Mr Barclay is up to, has he been spurned by TS re investment, ie not offered to put in as much as Thomas was looking for?
Is it all a game of bluff, Wiltshire is not even a player that would be needed @ Charlton?
If he was for real then I’d question his judgement and decision making and think he’d waste / burn through cash pretty darn quickly, on players that aren’t needed / just aren’t very good.
Bet Steve Gallens had a chuckle over this one.1 -

He's a dyed in the wool Tory. Huge capitalist and supports Chelsea.
Strangely, his living room looks no bigger than mine. Not sure he was going to be the driving force money man?3 -

I wonder how some people get out of bed every morning with all these scary social media messages to the left or right or up and down or even perpendicular to the lamp post down the street.
Precious init?1 -

I don't agree with Dodgers comment, but I do agree with Barclay's comment The biggest obstacle for CAFC is stadium ownership, certainly in the long term. I think TS will see our return in the next 3 years to the Championship (sooner I hope though).20

Just wondering what Dodger's suggestions would be for a different type of owner. One with a big bag of magic beans perhaps to take over what was a debt ridden, basket case league 1 club that was in the process of being asset stripped by the previous owners.

Thomas Sandgaard saved CAFC. I have no doubt about that. Without his tenacious pursuit of purchase I think it was highly likely that administration and god knows what else were very close indeed. Now it’s perhaps a pity that TS isn’t as rich as Elon Musk and can’t throw gazillions of £££££££’s at Charlton but he only has as much money as he has. No more, no less. In football terms he’s not rich at all. It is what it is. Yes I want promotion and I want it now but we can’t always have what we want when we want it. Steady progress will suffice for now. I have no doubt that slow build over three or four seasons will produce the goods. In the meantime I’m still overwhelmingly grateful for TS being our very good owner and doing his best.48

I haven't had a season ticket since the 90's, but will be buying three next year...I'll be happy to wipe out Dodger's deficit.14 -

I think Barclay's comment is valid though we knew that at the time of the purchase by TS. Not really sure what Dodger's problem is.5
