  • Anyone watching the new BBC1 series " Chloe" ?

We're into the 4th episode now & really enjoying it.
Only seen the first 2 so far but it’s decent.
Appreciate not being spoon fed the plot from the start, lots of gaps and keeping you guessing.

Reacher on Amazon is a much better adaptation of the Lee Child books than the two Tom Cruise films - worth a watch.
    Thanks for that.
I didn’t even know they were doing a series.
Always enjoyed the books and felt let down massively by the films.
I’m two episodes in to the series and it’s already infinitely better.

The lead character being 6ft5 rather than 5ft6 helps! Definitely more in line with the books and enjoying it

We binged it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some pretty gratuitous violence (doesn’t bother me personally) and the lead character was so wooden you could cry “timber!!!!” when he falls over. But regardless of that it was a lot of fun. Hopefully a series two in the offing. Excellent soundtrack too. Lots of decent blues music.
  • Not new TV, but a great look at probably the most important public service station in the UK in the last 20 years, somewhere you can safely let the kids watch without ads or going down a hell hole on YouTube, and I would have given a joint first place to the top 2

Just started it and like the look so far. Reminds me a bit of the Punisher which was the dogs nuts.
  • Peaky Blinders is my current binge, although only 2 episodes in.
  • Anyone watched Wu-Tang:An American saga?

Watched some of the first episode and thought it looked pretty good.
  • Peaky Blinders is my current binge, although only 2 episodes in.

I haven't, although getting alot of good reviews from my twitter followers, sounds like its worth a watch.

Agreed. I'm looking forward to this last series but also not expecting too much. Especially after the very sad death of Helen McCrory.

First episode into the new Ozark series and it's not gripping me at all.

Reminded instantly of why I don't like Marty's son.
Finished the first half of s4, not a fan at all. Completely lost its way imo, totally unbelievable storylines that make no sense.
  • Really can’t make up my mind on the woman across the street etc. only half hour an episode so will probably watch it all.

Started the curse, so far so good. Bit of a Tom Davis fanboy but finding his voice grating in episode one.

Massive shout out for Dopesick though, brilliant if scary and depressing.
  • Isn't The Woman From Across The Street, etc, a spoof of The Woman In The Window from last year with Amy Adams and Gary Oldman? Which, in turn, was a remake of Rear Window.

Agreed. I'm all up to speed with it and will finish it as too far in now but it does seem to have gone a bit wonky.

Peaky Blinders started veeeeeeery slowly. Have since finished season 1 and will plough through most of season 2 this evening.

If it was 5 then you watched it all.

Stick with PB as season 4 is excellent, Adrian Brody in particular. Season 3 is a bit Ozarky, as it just over reaches a bit on the probability.
  • Noooooo!!!

    Adrian Brody was awful

Yeah embarrassingly bad. Like he was a spoof character
