Would think so mate Alexander Arnold is 66 isn’t he?ForeverAddickted said:Am a little disappointed he's not No.89 like he was @ FC Midgetland
I love it when players pick random high numbers for their shirts
Although part of my brain is questioning if its even allowed in England?1 -
Ah forgot mastsen, my bad.ForeverAddickted said:

Liam Miller (Canada) too when he signs
He is Gallen / Bowyer's first player to be signed from a foreign team though1 -
Let's hope he is given a chance, I think some on here will be on his back saying he's shit if he isn't in double figures by Feb!!!1

I've got a good feeling about this one, not sure why though. Welcome, Ronnie.3

Concerned he won’t be granted a work permit under the post-Brexit arrangements. Not sure he meets the criteria.1

That's because Amos had already worn his number. You can have another NO 1 but not if they already had a squad number.MattF said:
No idea tbh, seem to remember someone mentioned that when Phillips left as to why Amos didn't take number 1Talal said:
Is that a recent rule then? Never used to be like that.MattF said:

Really would be the Charlton way to announce a signing and then have the work permit denied!!gilbertfilbert said:Concerned he won’t be granted a work permit under the post-Brexit arrangements. Not sure he meets the criteria.3 -
Club must be confident given they've announced it.gilbertfilbert said:Concerned he won’t be granted a work permit under the post-Brexit arrangements. Not sure he meets the criteria.

Is this actually a Gallen signing?
Bit of a coincidence that he is Danish.1 -

I seem to recall Gallen saying somewhere that Sandgaard had recommended Schwartzcafcnick1992 said:Is this actually a Gallen signing?

But Gallen / Bowyer followed their usual process and made to sign him off the back of their own scouting
Of course they could well have decided to sign him to be diplomatic with Sandgaard2 -

I've just watched about 30 of his goals going back over the last couple of years - he certainly comes alive in the box. Very clean striker of the ball and loves an emphatic finish
Slight concern for me is we are not exactly laying it on a plate for the strikers...we never have done really. Rest assured if he gets service he will score but the service is critical to his success.22 -
Hope he's better than what we've got up front. Sorry to dis those guys out there that are trying but weve needed better all season. Everyone can see it. Welcome aboard the skylark Ronnie.

I don’t know why, maybe it’s the fact we’ve signed him from overseas, but this excites me. Fancy he could take the piss in league one, and become a decent Championship striker.14

In theory/on paper the idea of Maddison serving up passed and assists for Schwartz sounds like a borderline cheat code for the league. But it does rely on Schwartz settling quickly and Maddison actually playing, so it's only cautious optimism from me.Swisdom said:I've just watched about 30 of his goals going back over the last couple of years - he certainly comes alive in the box. If only we had a player who has got bags of assists in league one, and is always looking to get the ball into the penalty spot area............ForeverAddickted said:

There's enough service, if the right players are in the team. A good striker comes alive in the box and can make an ordinary ball look good, with clever movement and timing. Put good players in with a good striker and goals will follow.ForeverAddickted said:

Well, he was leading goalscorer in last season's Danish SupaLiga.ValleyGary said:I don’t know why, maybe it’s the fact we’ve signed him from overseas, but this excites me. Fancy he could take the piss in league one, and become a decent Championship striker.
Sounds like he's keen to prove himself in English football.
