  • Welcome Ronnie, looking forward to seeing him play
  • Am a little disappointed he's not No.89 like he was @ FC Midgetland

I love it when players pick random high numbers for their shirts

Although part of my brain is questioning if its even allowed in England?
Would think so mate Alexander Arnold is 66 isn’t he?

Is he our only foreign player?
    Ashley Maynard-Brewer and Ian Maatsen

Liam Miller (Canada) too when he signs

He is Gallen / Bowyer's first player to be signed from a foreign team though
    Ah forgot mastsen, my bad.
  • Let's hope he is given a chance, I think some on here will be on his back saying he's shit if he isn't in double figures by Feb!!!

  • Born on the 29th August hence the number 29
  • I've got a good feeling about this one, not sure why though. Welcome, Ronnie.
  • I wonder for whom they are saving the number 9 shirt ????????
Ronnie's had to make do with the number twenty nine.

  • Concerned he won’t be granted a work permit under the post-Brexit arrangements. Not sure he meets the criteria.

I thought that's because Bonne has already worn it this season we can't reassign it
Is that a recent rule then? Never used to be like that.
No idea tbh, seem to remember someone mentioned that when Phillips left as to why Amos didn't take number 1
That's because Amos had already worn his number.  You can have another NO 1 but not if they already had a squad number.

Really would be the Charlton way to announce a signing and then have the work permit denied!!
  • Is this actually a Gallen signing?

Bit of a coincidence that he is Danish.

I seem to recall Gallen saying somewhere that Sandgaard had recommended Schwartz

But Gallen / Bowyer followed their usual process and made to sign him off the back of their own scouting

Of course they could well have decided to sign him to be diplomatic with Sandgaard

He speaks better English than Bowyer!

He sounds like Darren Farley doing his Daniel Farkas impression 😂

Wish I was again, still at least I’ll get the jab soon 😉.

He must be feeling the cold.

He's had to borrow Henry's cardigan.

  • Hope he's better than what we've got up front. Sorry to dis those guys out there that are trying but weve needed better all season. Everyone can see it. Welcome aboard the skylark Ronnie.

I've just watched about 30 of his goals going back over the last couple of years - he certainly comes alive in the box.  Very clean striker of the ball and loves an emphatic finish

Slight concern for me is we are not exactly laying it on a plate for the strikers...we never have done really.  Rest assured if he gets service he will score but the service is critical to his success.
Yeah its what worries me as well

There's enough service, if the right players are in the team. A good striker comes alive in the box and can make an ordinary ball look good, with clever movement and timing. Put good players in with a good striker and goals will follow.
