So presumably the Dildo Brothers and the Evil Witch have got the hump and are threatening Sky with legal action?

Oh and why is it the West Ham old boys in the media (Tony Cottee, Tony Gale etc etc) keep talking about West Ham having full houses week after week when every time I've watched their home games on MOTD, I can see bloody empty seats in all the stands.   Far from a sell out.
That apology was in response to the below,

Journalists Jonathan Liew, Matt Lawton and Matt Dickinson laid into the club's hierarchy as they slammed the board for the club's perceived lack of direction and their stewardship during the decade.

And Liew, who writes for The Guardian, claimed that West Ham were no longer considered to be a serious player in European football - despite recently being named as the world's 18th-richest club.

"They're not taken seriously any more," he told presenter Jacqui Oatley. "If you think about the major players in European football then the owners just aren't taken seriously as football people. And that's a huge issue.

"We talked about culture previously and there is a culture that basically everybody's got their hands in the till. The players are there for a pay check, the managers are there to do a couple of season to buff up their CV.

"There is no long term thinking. If you go from Moyes, to Pellegrini, back to Moyes, what is the long-term plan, what's the vision there? There isn't one."

Meanwhile The Telegraph's Matt Law highlighted the club's sheer lack of depth with regards to a support mechanism behind the playing squad. "They probably have the worst training ground in the Premier League," he said. "And I think, at the moment, they've only got one scout.

"When David Moyes came back he wanted to bring Stuart Pearce - who'd done a good job before - with him. It was vetoed because he'd dared to criticise the board on a radio station.

"He's got one member of the backroom staff that he's brought in, Alan Irvine, because Alan Stubbs turned them down. He's got no backroom staff, it's just a shambles, an absolute shambles."

Jonathan Liew is a clown and he is going to get his arse sued for those comments.

You cannot go on national TV and accuse a clubs owners of “having their hands in the till” - that is highly defamatory.

I hope he’s got professional insurance.

I don’t get it. What are we supposed to be finding interesting here?
You're meant to be laughing and taking the piss out of W Ham's training ground, even though you can't see it.

It goes from Wolves shiny new purpose built training ground to West Ham's tiny portakabin.

How do West Ham not have a proper training ground?! I'm pretty surprised at that.

Probably waiting for someone to pay for it, for them.

I thought there was a decent chance of West Ham becoming a top five club because of the favourable terms and that will still possibly happen, but what is holding them back is the porn merchants making dosh on the back of tax payers which I'm sure is more important to them than the club.

They have three separate training grounds I believe. One for the 1st team at Fords old ground in Romford and this has an indoor pitch as well. They have another at Chadwell Heath and no idea where the third is. One is for the under 23’s and the other is the academy.

Not ideal as you would want everyone together. Bows wanders over after training to watch the under 23’s train for instance. Must give them all a boost and no doubt he pitches in with advice.

People are complaining that Klopp is not going to watch the under 23s in the FA cup against Shrewsbury!
  • For some reason this popped up in my You Tube recommendations. Seems nothing has moved on for the fans since this was first put out in 2017. As a supporter I’d hate to experience a ‘home’ like that.

Not sure how a T Shirt with GSB Out can incite a crowd.

Pathetic response from West Ham - just the sort of football club that would welcome Keohane with open arms.

Standard reckons they are going to move the seats behind the goal closer to the pitch to enhance the experience. They’ll get a better view of West Ham losing that’s for sure...

didn't see cafc999’s post, must have been sitting too far back...

All the fans should wear a GSB out T-shirt or carry a banner - I'd like to see the club try to ban them all! I think this is probably how we would have reacted to something like this, but we probably have more about us than they do.

The Coalition is in "sleeper" mode now, so it's good to get all heads -ups like this. I am not sure if we know what you refer to, do you have any links?

Great. Are we all paying for that too?
  • Sounds like more conversion costs for the taxpayer to pick up. Aren't we lucky to be helping such a good cause. Those that really need it the most!
