they both did however Sing the praises of our guys saying they’ll be nothing but good for us. They are people who strive to succeed and will invest to ensure that. We apparently have the right people to take us back to where we should be. She knows through her Man City connections what finances are required but had no qualms about their ability to fund getting us back to the prem. 

Her hubby was at the Leeds game this season. Not sure if that was with our guys or not. 
If she had been alone I might have questioned her more about how wealthy they are but with hubby there I didn’t want to. So I can’t confirm we are the next PSG/Man C but all sounds very positive and so far removed from Roland frickin Douchebag!!

I can image you're like one of those Taxi drivers they use on the One Show who asks loads of questions. The only difference is you don't give them a free ride if they get the answers right 😀

Too bloody right!!  It’s quite amazing that I’ve had 2 passengers (her and Keith Harris) who are able to give a little inside knowledge on parties trying to takeover our club. You don’t pass up that type of opportunity 

And she's worth over £100m

Do they work on all four takeovers at the same time, or are we in a queue?

I can't be sure whether I got the info from the CAST meet with the EFL, or from Blackpool Trust, but I have clearly understood that they don't have the capacity to deal with several at the same time. In particular they use external forensic accountants. These could in principle be asked to work on several projects at once, but if the work/time pressure on them is increased, they might well ask a higher hourly rate, and you can imagine the EFL resisting paying that. 

Just my take on it though.

Let’s face it. It’s going to take us to the wire before we can stop biting our nails about new owners and transfer funds in January. It’s the Charlton way.

Results dipped but performance levels were still high given the circumstances. Performance levels since the announcement have fallen below acceptable, I don’t think this is a coincidence, this sort of change must affect player’s heads. As we see with Joe Ledley not always easy to get a new deal if you leave and not playing if you stay.

Exactly, I would think Phillips, Williams and Taylor will be confident of still being wanted but very uncertain for the others which is bound to affect performance.

Surely a better mental approach for a player is ..... 'if I make myself indispensable, they'll certainly keep me'.

But to a player struggling with stepping up a level or a squad player..... 'I perform to the best of my ability, good attitude and give 100% when called on, I'll be retained - or worst case scenario if I'm replaced, I'll give myself the best chance of a decent transfer to another club.

And the youngsters (surely new experienced players will replace some of these in the squad?) - well, they'll be offered loans to lower division clubs for the experience.
Then it's up to them to make their mark and impress.

I feel like considering my proximity to the efl offices I am not doing a service by sitting outside on a deck chair with a walkie talkie reporting everybody who comes and goes 

Doesn't matter if it goes through tonight or on Dec 30th.....no new players can actually be signed before Jan 1st. As long as Gallen is talking to players & agents then all good in my book.
