From what I have heard she works so hard and such long hours I really don't know how she will find the time for this.17

Anyone else noticed that the Bedfordshire rep is R Everitt? That could be fun, @Airman Brown?4

Depressing on so many levels.
She's cementing herself in place now; with obligations beyond CAFC it would appear as though a takeover is nowhere on the horizon.
For the FA to do this it would appear they care even less than we could've imagined. Although I did not for one second imagine that the FA would make a statement or acknowledge the situation at CAFC in anyway, I still didn't think they'd give the inept idiot a position. On the face of it, this appointment gives her credibility beyond SE7.
Lastly, it's another opportunity for portraying her victim persona to another audience.2 -
Maybe she is interested in the grass roots stuff ----- I support her effort in this and wish her good luck in looking at them from the bottom upwards soon as possible2

This^ My thoughts initially were why would you apply for such a position if the club was about to be sold following a fire sale. No respite in sight yet awhile I'm afraidLuckyReds said:Depressing on so many levels.

No wonder she hasn't made any comments recently with regards to the club bet she has lockjaw to get that job. Old RD wont be best too chuffed and might see her given the Spanish archer.
The football industry may just see what she is all about now, however she may have just have got this job due to sexual equality and not due to her ability for the job.0 -
Will Sue Parkes be applying for one of the other vacancies?4

Do you have to be English to be part of the FA hierarchy?0

I reckon she will rock up once, see that it is toothless ( as in it can't get all Charlton fans banned from existing) realise it is generally a waste of time, (because if she is on it, it must be) and she will never go again using the Varney email technique.
But it will look good on her CV. Not that her CV matters, because as long as she works for Roly it would seem she can get away with any old ineptitude.0 -
Because she has nothing to do with the EFL?ForeverAddickted said:Oh dear god... If they wanted the token female in there why not Karen Brady!!

Notice that the majority of club's CEOs are too busy running their own clubs to be interested in this. Running a club into the ground must be a lot less time consuming so Daisy has plenty of time to work on her CV.6

Copy of the Trust News there for Dyke. He obviously didn't read it.Stig said:8 -
You think she'll actually attend meetings?Airman Brown said:I would surmise from the four vacancies that no one wants it. She, on the other hand, will see it as another networking opportunity for her career and line for her CV. On the plus side, she'll be bored senseless.

Sound move for the FA for once, you always need a chief idiot in a group of idiots.4

Just sent them this. Not holding my breath on a reply...
"What on earth is Katrien Meire doing on the FA council? She and her puppet master are destroying Charlton Athletic FC, she clearly does not have the interest of football at heart, an imbecile can see that. And as a non-English person, why would she have any concern about the England national team? Please can you give me the names and e-mail addresses of the people that made this decision so I can take the matter up with them individually. Thank you."20 - Sponsored links:

To be honest, you've only got to casually glance at the representatives in that Council to realise why football is fucked. Although to be fair to the FA, they've always been set up that way with their cronies and jobs for the boys attitude.
I mean, who the fuck are "Billingham Synthonia FC" and why have they got a seat at the table?
Edit: just googled them. "They are known for being the only club in England to be named after an agricultural fertiliser". So, shit. That explains a lot.

To be fair the manure connection explains why 'Charlton FC' 's chief executive is at the table.Off_it said:To be honest, you've only got to casually glance at the representatives in that Council to realise why football is fucked. Less time for her to dedicate to fucking up our club can only be a good thing right?1

Most worrying thing about this , is that this position gives her a better chance of changing the way football works...
If I remember rightly ,in an interview she said that herself and Roland had big ideas for the football league and wanted to almost revolutionise it!
This appointment gives both of them the chance to do so!0 -
Truly truly unbelievable, how many kicks in the metaphorical bollocks can we be expected to endure??1

How does she get to represent 'Charlton FC' when she is not an employee of the club? Isn't she a Staprix sub-contracted provider of management services?3

Was literally no one else available?2

I signed but a shame the person who initiated it couldn't spell Charlton correctly.WSS said:4
