£15 quid to come and see one of the best grounds in the country
Is it not being played at crumbling Hillsborough now then?

Is Johnson suspended for you lot?0

Probably the biggest game Hillsborough has seen in about ten years.0

One of the best grounds in the country? See you're still a deluded prick.operationpig said:Any news on how many Charlton fans are coming up for this? £15 quid to come and see one of the best grounds in the country and believe me, we are absolutely buzzing!

Has your uplift in form come from a better quality of player coming in, or a new manager getting something different from the same players? Genuine question as I don't know what has gone on.operationpig said:Any news on how many Charlton fans are coming up for this? £15 quid to come and see one of the best grounds in the country and believe me, we are absolutely buzzing!

You can have a LOL for that. Brightened up an otherwise miserable afternoon.1 -
Great question, It's come as a result of sacking the totally inept Dave Jones who is quite simply shocking in this league, we are playing passing football again and Gray has just added belief and has brought back players frozen out by DJ, today was a perfect example of that with a goal by Maguire who was sent to Coventry (no pun) by Jones.DamoNorthStand said:

Stuart Gray is just doing the simple things again that some managers seem to forget.
It was reported to day that Wickham also looks like coming back next week too.
Think so, but he's only a sub these days, I hope we appeal it because it looked very harsh.cafcsinger said:Is Johnson suspended for you lot?

Very funny OP. Don't think a couple of the comments aimed at you were necessary though. Think the prices are very fair and four of us have decided to make the trip on the off chance we might put in a performance. By then our new boys will at least know each other's names. I expect around a thousand or so to make the trip. No more in my opinion as we are dire at the moment, have no attacking nous and have scored least goals in the country. So not exactly optimistic but you can only hope.1

Not deluded mate, I feel strongly about that.PopIcon said:

Chin up lads, Wigan are a decent side, and we were lucky we got the game abandoned because they were mullering us at the time, but just checked and it looked like you were winning for most of the game, not many sides will go there and get owt.

Not really worth losing a Saturday watching an inevitable defeat.0

I'm going - only been to that wonderful, bright & breezy stadium 3 times (breezy because its full of holes) and never seen us lose - I remember the last time we played there in the cup.....we won 4-2 if I recall & I'm hoping for a repeat performance.0
-
I'm there... looking forwards to the 6th round draw already0

Have you seen it?operationpig said:

We had 729 at Wigan yesterday, which for us was quite respectable.operationpig said:Any news on how many Charlton fans are coming up for this? £15 quid to come and see one of the best grounds in the country and believe me, we are absolutely buzzing!

Hopefully they'll be a few Wednesday fans there too, can't argue with the ticket prices.0

Yep, another 'like' for Hillsborough from me. I'll be there.0 -
Excellent ticket prices. I thought Wednesday might be tempted to up the ticket price as its a 5th round tie and a relativlely big game.
Keeping them down to £15 for season ticket holders should see an above average turnout from both sets of supporters and making a big game atmosphere.0 -
I'm still buzzing over our 97th minute winner lol.
By the way, didn't Frimpong play for you last season, what did you think of him? he was stupid yesterday.0 -
Am really looking forward to the day.
Haven't been there before and will be nice to have a game without the pressure of league points.
Also another game for the likes of Reza, Polish Pete and Nego to get some more match fitness.0
