Some good performances and a lot of fight. Haynes made the difference for me - positive, direct and held the ball up much better than I expected him to. Hamer flappy and if we hadn't got a result I would have said to rest him next game. Good energy from Pritchard throughout. Great crowd support for CP and the team.
  • Powell's body language throughout was a worry. Has something been said to him?

This. Hopefully nothing in it but definitely seemed subdued.
  • We were terrible for first 35 mins and Cardiff should have finished us off. Error from Marshall and we were back in it. The confidence flooded back and the crowd livened up and we looked dangerous. We panicked at the end and almost undone all are good work. Pritch was brilliant as was Dervite at the back.

Not even a tunnel jump, just a wave. Very noticeable, hopefully nothing in it but it was so obvious.

Those at the valley in the last two games have seen fourteen goals in three hours of football. That's roughly one every twelve minutes.

I only caught the result in the last ten minutes but i am absolutely chuffed. A win's a win and scoring five is even better. Yes, we need to shore up our back four but we cannot underestimate how important those unexpected three points are.

But obviously a great game and result. For 60 minutes tonight we controlled the game - confidence shone through and quality came to the fore. Especially, Stephens

  • when I saw six minutes of injury time at 5-2 up i thought "so cardiff need to score one every two minutes to draw level - no chance"....no way did I expect that to almost happen!!!
anyhow, despite feeling a little bit disappointed at conceding those two late sloppy goals, a great win AND COMEBACK nonetheless against one of the divisions top sides...hopefully this is now where we push on to much better things this season.
I'm loving the fact that when some people saw our team sheet before the match started they were saying how depressing it looked, square pegs round holes and all that, yet the team pulled off an emphatic victory! he who dares rodney!!!!
  • Considering we had a centre back at right back and a right back at left back and another centre back playing for us in that position for the first time...

Only 7 points away from a play off place.

    ;o)
  • Great game, great fight back, I had a feeling we'd knick this one.
Even when we was 2-0 we were constantly singing. Quality atmosphere today!
Chrissy Powells red and white army constantly for first 15 minutes showed how much he means to us.
Thought Stephens was quality second half and that's why Villa want him, more like that from the team and the fans!

Woke up this morning thinking we would go behind and win the game. Done half losing, full time winning @ 30/1. Who cares, great game.

Not sure where the 6 mins came from, neither trainer on the pitch, did our best to throw it away, however at 2 down, I would have taken a draw.

    3 pts on Sunday.
  • Fantastic win and proof if we need it that, even with at least four of our best side out, we can hold our own at this level.
  • If there is anything in the body language thing other than him being pissed we made a great a score line look not so great

There are bits of the something inside so strong that will be quite apt

Great fighting spirit against a fragile team away from home. Need to remember tonight for future fights to come.

Went off with leg injury either cramp or hamstring again. He is quality
  • Massive game at Bristol coming up. Back to back wins would be great!
  • Thought Haynes gave us a bit of flair and much needed pace, scared the s*** out of Hudson and taylor. Overall a food game, however cut out the mistakes and we could've limited them to 1 goal...
