I had the pleasure of being at the back of J block with the choir tonight. We all gave it our all, and quite a few of us left the ground with very sore throats! A massive effort by these boys on the drums, kept us going all night. Well in lads!!
A great effort by the Covered End choir, but it's hard to resist

One word sums up that game. Mental. I have aged 10 years in 96 minutes. So much to say but will save my views for tomorrow when I have had time to chew over what just happened. Time for bed and dreaming of goals, goals, goals. And maybe a bit of Kelly Brook..........

lol! I was surprised they were young lads, but all stood up as proper men tonight. Still buzzing!!
Seriously bizarre game. Not one goal where anyone can say "oh well that was just a good goal". All poor defending with our last being the only one coming close to being considered a good goal.
Despite the score and the stats I thought we were mostly poor and lucky. Everyone worked hard and full credit to them for that but still too often found short of any quality. But then when half the outfield players are playing out of position it's always going to be tough. I'm fully behind giving Chris all the time he needs and am realistic about where we are as a team/club. I said before the season started that avoiding relegation was our target and 4th from bottom is an achievement, plus we're seriously blighted by injuries and poor luck. But when I saw the team set up even I held my head in my hands and said "WTF is he doing"!!
Still we somehow got away with it and if offered 3 points from the last 2 games anyone with any common sense would have bitten hands off. Now heading into some very important winnable games that we need to get good points from. If we don't take advantage of them then my view is going to change from we will survive the drop to we won't.
great game. apart from the last 6 miniutes which came out of nowhere. good on everyone, especially the covered end, for the chrissy powell chants. I'm too drunk for a tuesdady night but man, well earned 3 points. played really well. shame we made palarse top though.
Loved it! sat in the J block for the first time tonight and it was great - just singing pretty much the whole time - the east and west stand joined in as well, not seen that too many times. One of the best part of being there was not being surrounded by idiots that moan constantly and shout any expletive they can think of. Just nice to be away from the complete tit in the K block! I will have to get back up there again soon.
Really enjoyed the game, 9 goals, and we won, can't really complain. If i had too though... woeful defending from set pieces and we turned off as soon as the 90 minutes were up. Not sure where the 6 minutes came from - haynes was injured but he got off the pitch very quickly. Ref was a tad card happy. Their 3rd goal was handball.
We just beat the team that was top of the league and put 5 past them - fantastic stuff!
Also went to the O2 today and watched marray and nielson win, followed by federer strutting his stuff - great day of sport
Yes, second that about the drums. Was clapping along - the noise made a real difference. Well done to alldrummers and singers tonight. On the comment about all the goals were poor defending, not sure you can say that about Dale's. It looked like a cross as it was coming in but then their goalie realised it was going to go in and he ended up getting a hand to it but not stopping it. For all those who doubt his ability on here (and I agree he's not always good) that's the sort of thing that Villa wanted to pay £2m for.
Sky sports newa Clive! They'll reshow them in a moment if you can watch, I'm sure they'll be up on sky sports site/ cafc player etc tomorrow if you can't watch SSN..

You're joking, I assume. That was a freak goal and Dale had the decency to look embarrassed afterwards.
Post Match thought from a Cardiff fan 5! SACK THE F*CKING c**t, THAT'S ENOUGH HE CAN f**k OFF
Alot of them lot saying we are abysmal, they would thrash us etc. Clearly dont know much about us, our play has merited a better position. Strange how they were top until tonight and so many of them are calling for there manager to get the sack.
Wasnt able to make it tonight but as good as the game was I dont believe that.. In the game at the weekend people were moaning at some bloke who was calling for Charlton to push up.
What a fantastic experience. Haynes made the difference without doubt and with Hulse it worked. As soon as Haynes went off the play deteriotated and we once again could not keep the ball. Defence and midfield will work harder if they think the front men have a goal in them and that is what showed tonight. I thought the support was fantastic especially at 2-0 down; we never stopped making noise. Well done team and fans . One very good reason to be cheerful this morning. I hope Haynes is fit for Sunday.
Emotional night. Thought the players dug really deep for the Manager and the crowd played their part too. Some simply terrible defending on both sides, but some decent finishing on show too and the only thing that really matters tonight is that we got one more than them. A game that will live long in the memory and hopefully the turning point in our season.
CP owes the players and the covered end for last night, both being terrific.
Just filed that game alongside Play Off Final, Villa v Charlton, Charlton v Man U
When we started pressuring them after 30 mins or so, I though Cardiff looked all over the place at the back, although I didn't expect five goals. Haynes and Pritch were superb, you could see the belief flooding back during the second half, although the last couple of minutes seemed to knock them back judging by the way they left the pitch - either that or they were as knackered as the crowd by then. A big three points.
At 2-0 down couldnt take anymore went for beer watched on the telly in north upper great fight back honestly couldnt see that happenning , so glad for chris powell because i really feared for him if we had got a hiding , never do things easy though but we held on thank god.
Midfield won it for us in the second won every seond ball, biting at their ankles.Stephens MOM by a mile, special mention to Pritch and Kerkar who I thought were superb. Hamer gave Jacko pelters when the first goal went in and was still on his case 10 minutes later when they got their next corner.Good response by him though. Special mention to Hulse very good game old fashioned Centre Forward performance.

From start to finish what a great tonic for us who couldn't make it
