Just sums this match up. Boland massive inside edge and misses by a fraction.  No luck at all

You just know we will limp past 100, and aus will win by an innings

This wicket looks really tame when we are bowling.
It will probably look like a minefield when Stark and company bowl.

50 partnership and these two have seen off 20 plus overs together now - longest partnership of the innings

England don't seem to have the patience when batting to get a 50 partnership off 20 overs

Now were making Starc look like a superior Don Bradman. This is a grim watch. We look defeated

Match over . Our heads have dropped . Wouldn’t be at all surprised if we get bowled out under the lights and lose by an innings . #FuckBazBall

Meanwhile, a few miles away the Lions were all out for 166 and Australia A are 536/6 in reply.
    554-7 at close

Starc becomes top Aussie scorer in the innings and has more runs in this Series than any England batsman bar Root.

Maybe all this batting will tire him out and won't be able to bowl???

Or he'll just get another 6/7 wickets.

Jacks getting some turn on the pitch.

The way it’s gone today, England will be happy that the Aussies didn’t pick Nathan Lyon…

    …he would’ve scored a century

It’s all well and good blaming Rob Key. But Australia are just better than us, especially in their home conditions

Resignation. I would like Mc Callum to go as well. Bazball isn’t working. Australia have shown us the way to go. I had a £100 bet at the beginning that we would lose 4-1. I should have made it 5-0. There doesn’t seem to be any consequences for how we play. All you hear from Stokes and the management is this is how we play. We have been really poor in this Test series so far.

All of the Aussie XI have now reached double figures and they need another 24 runs to set a new world record. The highest previous score, without a player reaching a century, is Sri Lanka's 531 vs Bangladesh last year (Mendis 93).

This is quite frankly a pathetic display by,  in my opinion a very ill prepared English cricket team.
A fairly average Australian side and we haven't laid a glove on them.
Brain dead cricket. Zero game plan for the occasion. I'd say it very much lays at the door of Ben Stokes, Brendan McCullum and ultimately Rob Key.

Watching Australia bat ,England must notice that they do not keep swiping away at balls outside off stump
Surely they are intelligent enough not to keep doing it themselves.

Absolutely right. We were told that everything was channeled to preparing the players for the Ashes series. We are getting totally outplayed batting, bowling and fielding. It is not good enough heads should roll. Australia are also without Cummins. Hazlewood and Lyon. I can see England getting bowled out for 150.

I reckon under 150, an innings defeat coming up.

I’ve just woken up. 177 lead?!?

Please tell me we didn’t bowl short to the tail.
