Thought the players seem right behind Jones at the weekend and, if anything, have been bemused by fans anger recently, rightly or wrongly.
People seeing what they want to see?
I don’t think there is much behind any comments that Jones is losing or has lost the dressing room1 -

That said Miles, albeit at a lower level, started his career well but the injuries, given their seriousness, have taken their toll and it will take time for him to return to the levels he was aspiring to before the last serious injury.1 -

I still wonder if we're putting too much too soon on the shoulders of our youngsters?
I got around to watching the monthly CTV panel discussion today and thought it was interesting when they talked about our cup game with Chelsea U21s............ paraphrasing, but they said how difficult it was for the Chelsea youngsters to cope with the physicality and experience levels in 'mens' football.
We have variously 2 or 3 youngsters regularly in our first team........ NA, ZM, TS, KA, ML & DK...... depending on the injury situation. If they really can't cope too well it puts pressure on them and pressure on the other 8 or 9 guys on the pitch too.
If we're going to continue with front foot, high press football I hope we sign a couple of players in January who have the experience, physicality and lung power and quality to help out more than some of our current squad.2 -

If we could get some width, pace and creativity into the side, we could actually be half decent.
More worrying, is how has a squad been assembled that is so unbalanced? We're talking about a big club at this level....not Burton Albion. Quite frankly, it's a piss-take for supporters who pay a lot of money to follow the club.1 -

How good or bad those respective eras are or were in relation to each other is a separate debate to the development and contribution of Leaburn Senior and Junior.0
