Can't believe he's only 23.....4

Good luck to him. He is a decent player and a great character as well.0

Not sure if true but def rumours of a fall out with Jones last season after an incident and didn’t feature much after that.A 100%er on pitch so fans will always be forgiving of the odd mistake from those, but I think he needs to have a lot of consistent football and improve a bit in L1 before being Champ level.Wish him well but not sure we’ll see him in a Charlton shirt again.0

Feel like he really bought character to our side. His error and redemption against Burton last season shows that. And like others have said, supreme shithouser 👍1

Personally I think he is a very good league 1 defender and in time he could get championship standard so a few more seasons in league1 and more games will benefit him.0

I think he'll do really well for Argyle, he's a decent no-nonsense defender and towards the end of last season got more comfortable with the ball and with his passing out......... can't remember exactly when, but on occasion could play an excellent defense splitting ball to create a goal out of nothing..... good luck Alex.2

As for all the comments about pace, and comfort on the ball etc, I don't believe we saw enough of him to make that assessment. He was always in unsettled sides and we were very bad/going throuch teething issues when he was playing mostly. Unfortunately for Mitch, Lloyd Jones & Kayne Ramsay are just top players and it was always going to be a hard task to dislodge one of those two.
Reckon like Terry Taylor he will do very well on loan, and be a standout player. Best of luck to him, top bloke and his family are lovely as well, the exact type of character I like to see at Charlton. 👍🏻
It's nice that he scored on his final league game for us though.
It's a shame he's gone because Mitchell is only one injury away from playing in the Championship for an extended run and surprising people, but we know that he joined us in the first place because he wasn't interested in sitting on a bench and training, he wanted to play. He left his boyhood club for that and then lost his place halfway through the season so another year of hoping to feast on scraps probably didn't appeal. I think he was unfortunate in that we ended up having four players competing for three spaces and he managed to be just behind one of the others in a key department. He lacked the incredible recovery pace of Ramsay, the pure dominating strength of Jones and the passing ability of Gillesphey. Those players got picked based on having one really outstanding quality alongside their general defensive strengths whereas Mitchell was just pretty good across the board. I don't think it's impossible that he could have a good Championship career but he either needs to become more comfortable on the ball or more aggressive and dominant as an old school centre back if he's going to stand out7 -
For much of the early part of last season he was one of our best players. Sorry to see him go, though think it maybe for the best assuming we have the right to recall him if necessary.0

Am I misremembering that he was late for something, dropped for a game and then spoke to fans at the game saying he had no idea why he'd been dropped0
-
I think that was the Blackpool game at home, when he was dropped for REG.
Had the pleasure of seeing REG launch two consecutive throw-ins straight off the pitch that game.0 -
He was dropped at Blackpool because NJ said he wanted someone more aggressive and better in the build up but REG didn’t really have the quality despite being the right profile. Probably explain why NJ has preferred Bell to Macca start of the season as well seems like he likes his wide centrebacks to have a lot of pace/aggression and can comfortably bring the ball out0

Strong in the middle of a three or four but doesn't have the nous to play RCB or RB. His passing seemed decent to me.0
