Obviously it’s harder to see from a still image, but here is the part where he clearly looks up at the referee to try and claim a foul, before being ignored and then rolling around holding the back of his head (which he didn’t land on).
Evatt claimed ‘He has clearly landed on his head, he was clearly holding his head. He is down on the floor and we know the impact of head injuries and how serious they can be.

The fact that Evatt says he has watched the footage back, which is as clear as day, and still claims these things makes his comments even more bitter.

1. Surprised at the blinkered and arrogant views of Bolton's manager and their fans. They weren't outplayed yesterday but they were outfought and should give some credit where it's due.
2. If my missus knew that travelling to Bolton on Friday would make me stiff on a Saturday, she'd already have my ticket booked.

On the waiting for Charlton results thing, our matches always seem to start and finish late.
I thought it was just something that happened at the Valley, but yesterdays match started at 3:04 (I was aware of the time as I was trying to see how far behind the stream was compared to Live Scores app which shows the precise minutes/seconds) despite there being no minutes silence.
I think it’s because they do the silly thing where they get both sets of players to line up and and face the (half empty) stands like they’re playing in a World Cup match (why do they do that?) and then everyone is forced to shake hands with each other (why do they do that?) and all of this nonsense takes place after 3pm.
The match should kick off at 3pm (or whatever time it’s scheduled to begin). Any ridiculousness that needs to take place beforehand to make Fleetwood v Exeter feel like Bayern Munich v Juventus should happen ahead of that.
At the end of the day we didn't win....and we needs wins desperately. We now equal an EFL record this season for the number of games without a win. 15. That is a third of a season, and correctly just under half the number of games we've played. By the time we play Pompey it will be 3 months.

People are seeing a change of mentality within the team and a spirit we haven't seen for half a season.

I always watch the feed (in the Netherlands), but find it much more stressful than being at the matches.
But clearly, we look like a different team than the one that played Reading (actually went to that one).
Still think we’ll slip into the relegation zone, as Cheltenham and Vale have two and three games in hand over us respectively. After that it’ll get very interesting. Small will make a difference, he looks very good, and the sort of physical presence we’ve been lacking.

i thought they looked solid but nothing special when we played them at fratton park this season - of course, they will be favourites but so were Bolton and we're improving week on week

Harsh for a Sunday morning, surely deserves blue card first.
At the game yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it for a change. Brought my lad along who seems to be a bit of a lucky charm. 5 away days this season without seeing them lose (or win!). Utterly confused by the starting line up but is seemed to work pretty well. Definitely no guaranteed starters these days.
Just wanted to call out the coming of age of two of our own yesterday, Anderson and Kanu. Having watched them earlier in the season I am definitely guilty of deciding that these boys are just not ready for league football. I was wrong. What impressed me most with Anderson was out of possession. He was clearly given a job to mark Josh Sheehan out of the game and never let him get a foothold at all. In the second half, Sheehan was resorting to dirtier tactics - yanking his shirt out of possession, shoulder barges, in his ear all the time etc.... but Anderson did well not to bite despite being on a yellow. In the end, the Bolton manager had to pull him off as he wasn't influencing the game. He must have covered some serious ground yesterday and never seemed more than 10 yards from the ball at all times. As for Dan Kanu, he could be some player. Last season he seemed to get bullied a lot, but yesterday he looked strong in possession. He's always had the pace and finishing instinct but yesterday you could see the desire. He doesn't look intimidated any more and has to be a definite starter for Portsmouth.
Encouraging times but we have to stop with the sloppy goals.
My thoughts from the game. We seem to be going in the right direction and I think we will be safe. I thought we stood off them a bit at the end which may have been down to the bookings or tiredness but without Santos their defence is ordinary. A deserved point and them moaning about Kanu's goal was beyond pathetic. Not a foul in a million years. Small looked good and Ramsey and Small as wing backs may be the way forwards.
Still not convinced by Isted, felt AMB would’ve done better with all the goals.

Thought he didn’t get near enough to the second goal. It was a decent shot, but it wasn’t in the corner.
Grass is always greener and all that, I thought Harry had an ok game, and maybe Thomas (i think), could have got goal side of the scorer for the first, as in the second one, leaving it all to Dobson, instead of closing down in support could have helped...but swings and roundabout stuff, you could find fault wherever you want to, in retrospect, we did well overall...🙄
I think you can find some fault with Thomas for the first and Dobbo for the second but they were not the big mistakes we have grown accustomed too this season. Thomas should have been tighter to his man but was marking him and Dobbo dived in to block a shot but the player was right footed and there was a defender there to block a left footed shot. You can find a bit of fault with the majority of goals. Isted didn't have a lot to do apart from the goals. Their keeper made a great save from Chuks which would have won it for us.

Going down injured a couple of times in added time which brought the trainer on broke up play and their momentum. Just like other teams seem to always do to us.

Isted got a couple of knocks and made a meal of them staying down for treatment (just like every other club does, but never us because we were too soft). (Jason Pearce used to).
Good result, not expected. Hopefully the defence will learn a lot on video playback especially for the third Bolton goal, Small and especially Ramani could and should have done more.
