    Wjat happened with their 10 wicket ?  I went out just before lunch with them 9 down, not going anywhere & about 10 behind. Came back in an hour later to find then 40 ahead...!! 

    Good couple of partnerships by our boys but Root & Brook need to continue as I reckon we'll need a lead of at least 350.

    After their abysmal showing in the 1st test it's good that this is a proper test match which should be over 5 long days on a belter of a pitch and that just like in Australia when the windies went from the ridiculous to the sublime in a couple of tests.

    Cricket needs a strong windies team but they are still so erratic in batting, bowling and fielding that you never know how they will perform from session to session.

    They might still not do so! They are very unlikely to declare to do so given that our lead will still only be 359 on a wicket that is still good to bat on.

    Odd morning. England cruising along in no trouble at all, yet lose 3 late wickets and suddenly the game is back open again.

    TBF Zak's luck was out in the 2nd innings.
    His average of 32 is the lowest of the top 6.

    With the wee man Duckett getting two good scores in this match to take his test average above 40 which is impressive for 40 odd innings. 

    Crawley ave 32 over 85 inns
    Duckett ave 41 over 41 inns
    Pope ave 36 over 80 inns 
    Root ave 50 over 260 inns
    Brook ave 63 over 24 inns
    Stokes ave 35 over 188 inns

    Zak Crawley can be a great batsman to watch and he needs to continue to work on his weaknesses as low scores continue to show up.
