The scorer says May but that was 100% because of Kanu's excellent work

Fail to win today and Scott will have to sign about 5 or 6 new players that are better than what we got to have any chance of playoffs
That has been true since the start of the season

Lovely, lovely work from Kanu. His touch and movement are so drastically improved this year
  • 1-0 Great play down the right from Kanu, lays off to Alfie who scores from the 6 yard line...now more please

Not sure what anyone expected with a lower league one manager and lower league one players. Going nowhere, don’t expect anything other than more of the same in January transfer window.
We're in the lower leagues, literally all of our ayer and any manager we get in will be lower league.
At least we have one player who isn’t lower league and that should keep us round about where we are now.

    Well played Kanu!!
  • Well played Hector and Kanu
  • Truely, truely awful.

Appleton rapidly losing me. This team and formation is all wrong.

We need to go 352 or 442. Bring Elerewe onto have a bit of height at the back and or Kanu up front as a partner for May.

So many having absolutely awful games. Feel desperately sorry for Rylah as he shouldn't be out there.
Thanks for listening to me  Appleton!

Superb hold up play by Kanu on the far side, waited for the cavalry to arrive and his cross deflected into May's path - goal number 19 of the season

Mayyyyyyy. He just has the habit of being in the right place.

Brownie talking about how May has been so much more potent for us when he’s not been played down the middle.

    Dont tell Golfie.

Disgusting dive from the Cambridge man, half well done to the Referee for not falling for it, but should be booking him

Cambs had a big penalty appeal for a tackle by Hector, hard to see if there was much in it from here but the ref wasn't moved.

Much better. Pinning them back and keeping the ball. Edun with a poor ball in the end but he's largely been good. Fraser gets a lot of shit but his ability to put his foot on the ball and dictate play is massive

Unless we go up, there is zero chance Alfie May will be a Charlton player next year. He is way, way too good for this league and i can see one of the top championship clubs taking a punt and him wanting to have a shot at the big time at the end of his career
