No foul by our Joe but Nunez did come back from an offside position but assume it was classed as 2nd phase.
1-2 and Salah scores his 13 goal in 14 apps against United.

  • Liverpool's attacking quality showing now. Great work by Quansah whose drive forward created the equaliser
  • Klopp's last year, these fuckers are going to win the lot.
  • Roy Keane is fuming!
  • It's almost got to the situation where the question is whether Chelsea can keep hold of Palmer. He's too good to be in a team fighting to scrape into the Europa League.
He hasn't made many mistakes but easily one of biggest of Pep's reign at City was letting Palmer go instead of giving him more minutes.

A sad indictment that the UAE team didn't seem to appreciate the best under 21 English talent along with Jude Bellingham.
Send him on loan for a year to Dortmund would've made sense so he could play every week. I wasn't aware that City were short of money unless 'fair play' 😂 comes into it.
I was gutted that such a young English talent went to Chelsea. Hopefully he moves on soon if a 100+ million bid comes in.
It's well documented Palmer went to see Pep pre season and wanted a guarantee that he would play a certain number of games. Credit to Palmer for doing that but as we've seen with Foden and Grealish plus any number of other non English players Pep doesn't guarantee anyone minutes. City received £42m and there are "sell on" and "buy back" clauses in his Chelsea contract.

That's the crazy thing, there are add ons (like when he played for England) but there are no sell on or buy back clauses. Huge mistake from City.

Why sell him to Chelsea who most seasons are a rival ?

Quansah will be a major part of what I hope will be an England golden era over the next decade or so

Because they had to find someone who was going to pay top dollar for a 21 year old that had made just 3 PL starts. With all due respect to Chelsea the limit of their capabilities at the moment is to finish in the top half of the table - they didn't even manage half City's points tally last season and as they've found throwing money at the situation isn't the solution. For every Palmer there have been three or four Sterlings.

We would all be moaning about the fact that a promising England player such as Palmer was getting limited opportunities. The fact is that he has started 19 PL matches makes him a candidate for the Euros squad which he wouldn't have been had he stayed at City.

Bad news for all Liverpool haters:
    Quansah 21, Bradley 20, Elliott 20, Gravenberch 21, Clarke 19, Chambers 19, Doak 18, etc.

5 against 2 on the break and Liverpool don't put this game to bed.

  • Liverpool made to pay for being surprisingly unclinical in the second half
  • United have been useless but have somehow equalised.

The much maligned Anthony proves if the class team don't punish you when on top you have a punches chance.

    Another Desmond.

Elliot nearly makes it 3 with a bender that hits the post.
  • VVD is such a prick. Screams abuse at his teammates when their mistake causes a goal, but when he’s the one getting nutmegged for an equaliser, he’s strangely silent.
  • FA Cup has been excellent this weekend
  • FFS Rashford

He always looks like such a miserable bastard as well.
  • Rashford really should have won it there.

    Every footballer summed up there!!

  •  United playing well for the first 15 and last 10. Liverpool dominant in between but not putting the game away

Bruno also lucky to not get a second yellow

Absolutely incredible miss. But VAR showed he would've been given offside.

What a miss by Rashford with the last kick before ET. It was offside that VAR would've shown.

The one thing that coaches can't coach or control is momentum over *100 minutes; United went from not having a kick to getting on top.

    * 130 odd minutes now.

And offside again just now, but he still missed them both!!  Forwards shouldn't miss one on ones!
  • Dont worry Marcus, those misses wont prove costly or anything...
  • United defend shots from the edge of the box in the same way Charlton have often defended them in recent years.

Lots of players there, but nobody attacking the ball

2nd deflection for Scousers makes it 3-2.

Who are the fittest team now ?
  • The forgotten man, Mason Mount is on.
  • Felt like Liverpool were wasting time with the throw given United were on top, then scored from it!
  • What a game!
  • Well he had to get one didnt he!!
