Set pieces, this time attacking ...

Free kick, slightly to the left, 20-25 yards out ... tried to play a sneaky ball down the side if the defence instead if a cross or shot ...

And placed it so far out of CBT's reach it was embarrassing.

CBT has their No. 6 on toast. Ghosts past him and his shot is cleared off the line

Copy paste: We break with CBT but edit: shot saved off the line

CBT on fire here has a shot cleared off the line, we are getting a bit more controlling

Waste of a good Fk position
All week they have worked on that

Long throw into the area from vale, cleared but headed back in and vale volley high and wide.
    A Valley Vale volley?

Yes, a very venomous Valley Vale volley vanishing vertically

Honestly, Portvale look like they've jumped from Sunday league straight to league one.

Need May to take advantage and get the old shooting boots calibrated.

Set piece… nice idea, CBT on his heels and the pass goes out for a goal kick
I thought we had Taylor as the free kick expert. Seems like every time he's on the pitch (which hadn't been much) and we get a fk he's nowhere near them.

He’s been over both with Edun. Edun took the one that went out of play.

We should try a new throw in tactic. Throw it at the opposition and then win it back off them. We'll end up with possession as often as we do now

Decent for 30 mins.  Now gone to sleep.

Ok they actually had a half decent attack, thankfully they put it well wide.

Charlton gone to sleep a couple of times in the last few mins.

Port Vale are not out of this and could yet be a threat...we need to stay focused
