Three Yorkshire clubs now occupy the Championship relegation places, but it's still very tight.
Hopefully Wednesday will claw their way out of it and stay up.

Rohl and Powell have turned things from a certain relegation to having a fighting chance.
You are a loan voice on here with your love for Wednesday.
Most of us hate their scummy fan's and hope they go down.
Never had issues up there Rambo, got lots of Wednesday mates and it's always a grin.

We’ve been crap away this season (and at home for much of the time) but spare a thought for Rotherham’s travelling support - 35 games without a win since November 2022. Only 4 points garnered away this season so far - precisely the number we ended up with in the dreadful 1979/80 relegation season - 0 wins, 4 draws and 17 defeats away, with only 14 goals scored and 47 conceded.
Strangely despite our poor away record we’ve got 2 wins (Derby and Wigan) and 3 draws (Pompey, Bolton and Blackpool) against the 5 teams with the best home records
    We won at Cheltenham too.

It must be an age thing.
People of my age have a different perspective when it comes to Wednesday fans.
Hope you are keeping well Gazza.

Both sets of Sheffield fans were horrible the season we won league one.

Massive comeback win for Leicester. Weird how they've stuttered so badly when it looked like they would run away with it.
  • And Lincoln win again! It's an unbelievable run they are on.

They play Oxford in a couple of weeks. The winner of that should get the last play-off spot.
  • Stockport staying top of L2.

"Our" Sarmiento gets a somewhat individual last minute winner for Ipswich to send them back to the top.

Nice to see Leeds on sky for once. They don't get much showing these days.

Incredible run of form given that before this run they had 8 wins in 26.

They are going to be very dangerous for whoever finishes 3rd and faces them in the play offs.

They'll scrabble together a couple more wins and finish 4 or 5 points above the drop, unfortunately

Millwall lad at work reckoned the wheels would come off for Harris eventually and then they would nosedive. Hopefully yesterday was the start!

Pompey v Derby - twice in a few mins other Derby players have had a go at CBT for not putting a defensive effort in.
  • Who on earth is co-commentator, and why is he talking like someone is squeezing his balls?

Who’s the terrible co-commentator in the Pompey game?

Not surprised. If he doesn't sort that aspect of his game out he is going to have a low ceiling.  He was pretty much our one creative force so was allowed to get away with more than he should have.

Derby have lost four games (One of those came against Charlton) less than us
Portsmouth have drawn five games (two of those of course came against Charlton) less than us.

We really need to find some consistency next season, even then results / performances like Monday will still happen.

Looking at the Millwall fixtures I think 10/1 odds of relegation is worth a pound... They have Huddersfield away and Plymouth last game... Could get spicy... Rather them than Brum.

If Millwall come down then that's 6 points we'll miss out on.

Burrows (Peterborough) - Mendez-Laing (Derby) - Pack (Portsmouth) are the three names shortlisted for the EFL Player of the Season this year, must admit I'm impressed with whoever has put that list together.

It might be just me, but its felt in previous years, as though they've just picked the top three Goalscorers... None of them have been selected this year, although Mendez-Laing has 23-contibutions (one more than May), and Burrows has 18-contributions.

    Young Player of the Year
Ronnie Edwards (Peterborough) - Dembele (Blackpool) - Hughes (Wigan)

    Manager of the Year
Mousinho (Portsmouth) - Evans (Stevenage) - Ferguson (Peterborough

Mousinho for the Manager award, first managerial job, Pompey been up there all season.

Don't like Evans but got to admire what he's done at Stevenage, just come up and been about the playoff for quite a while.

Ferguson, Boro always in the play off hunt but have fallen short so many times.

Not sure about Ferguson, Peterborough are just having the sort of season you'd expect. The other 2 are pretty obvious.

I imagine the shortlist was done too early, but the Lincoln manager Skubala surely deserves recognition as well. A ridiculous turnaround.
