Was a lot better than I was expecting, starting with a winger and an 18-year-old up front against Prem opposition. Thought we deserved extra time at least but their fitness and quality got them the result, and our lack of it cost us. (Which it has many times).
We need a striker and a quality CM who can play a pass. Gilbey has his moments but is not contributing to our attacking play with any consistency.

Anyone thinking Norwich today were Premier League quality needs to give their head a wobble. They wouldn't look out of place in our league based on today.
Not too disappointed. Thought we had a really good go, but no real end product. The neutral wouldn’t have know there is 2 divisions between the 2 sides. We ran out of steam, shame we had to make the 3 changes really. Think we could have nicked it if we had Stockley in the team.

Its not mathematically over is it, not by a long way - Its an extreme stretch, but if the players came out with your defeatism, a number of you would calling them every name under the sun!!

Decent performance, particularly given our two main strikers didn’t play. We’ve known all season that is where we lacked depth. Nothing massively wrong with the performance.
Thought we did DJ a disservice by taking him off, unfortunately today you could see Burstow and Leko haven't played as strikers together, they just didn't link up at all really, and like many have said if Washington or Stockley were involved today I think we would have won.

I’m not saying they should give up on the league, just that extra time and some tired players on Wednesday is worth a place in the 4th round of the FA Cup
I thought we played well. Some good showings across the pitch. Some mistakes and questionable decisions, but we gave them a good game and didn’t disgrace ourselves. We clearly have some gaps in our squad which we could do with strengthening, but the team showed heart and desire and some talent here and there too. Disappointed to go out, but happy with the effort and application. A bit of luck and taking a couple of different options on field and we’ve got an upset.

Without reinforcements back to a relegation scrap. We are now a well organised team that does not look like scoring.
