  • Lee leaves that and we equalise.
I misread that as though we had scored
  • Great effort lads, deserved more

  • Very good effort and some good quality stuff.

    Great performance.  Deserved more.

Ran out of steam and options in the end.

    Need a striker.
And someone that can take free kicks and corners.
  • Elliot Lee just has to get out of the way and CBT has an open goal to tap in a rebound.

But he decides the better idea is to try an overhead bicycle kick and totally fluffs it.

    Greedy.
  • Fuck sake, Lee has messed that right up
  • Chin up everyone.

Sounds like a really good performance despite losing.

And we're still off to wembley later this year in the PJT.

  • Decent attempt from the lads. Lack of quality showed a bit. Norwich were very ordinary and we could definitely have got something.
    Anyone know the attendance?
  • Lee should have left that
  • Good performance overall, and as much as it would have been great if we equalised at the death, we can probably do without a replay...
  • Fuck sake, Lee has messed that right up
Problem is, Lee is not as good as he thinks he is. So he tries things and they don’t come off, because he’s not as good as he thinks he is…
  • The out of form team in the country rock up at the Valley, play like the out of form team in the country and still come away with the win... And a clean sheet. Don't care if we're a league one team. A look around the results this weekend suggests we should have put them away
  • Thanks for the updates everyone.
  • Winnable game lost because of our attacking composure.

Norwich would not look out of place in League One and we would have beaten them with a better striker.
    Give it a rest ffs
Do you not think we should have won then?

    Couldn't agree more.

That said, coming away from the game feeling robbed isn't the worst outcome.

With a composed goalscorer, we'd have won (and we'd be on our way to the top 6).

Missed the first half, but thank you all for the updates...

    There are no replays.
  • Frustrating that, great performance early on taking it to an underperforming and unconfident side and Jackson set us up perfectly to press them, just obviously wasteful to not really create any great chances from winning the ball that deep in their half that often.

Obviously we lost to a Prem side (well top Championship) so not going to kill them for it and was incredible commitment, but they were there for the taking.

Not really sure what Lee was thinking at the end there but I guess with the last chance of the game you go for any ball you have a shot at really.

Probably could have done without Extra-Time

Didnt realise until someone mentioned earlier that we have Crewe on Wednesday

It’d just be nice if you didn’t keep repeating the same old thing and revelling in our failure to score. It’s tiresome and unhelpful.
  • We can now focus on Papa Wotsit Cup
