    Looks like Haaland to City is a done deal. Apparently completed his medical yesterday.

    playing a different role the last month or so as he’s been on the left of a back 3 but pleased to see him finally get a goal today.

    He has been excellent for the last 2 seasons.  Would be an ideal fit for LWB at Spurs under Conte but would take a lot of money.

    Think City with Haaland up front will be a scary proposition.

    Would love to see a front 3 of Foden, Haaland and Grealish / Sterling.

    I believe the clause in his contract states it must be paid up in one hit as well - not that would be a problem for City.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see Sterling move this summer.

    He's got a year left on his contract so they need to renew or sell.

    That said, Gabriel Jesus has been linked with Arsenal, and Mahrez is getting on a bit for a winger so maybe they'll want to renew Sterling's contract.

    On the face of it, its a massive bargain 55million. They were after Kane last year for 100 and got told they wanted more. 

    Haaland also plays in a 433, so to get the most of him City wont have to adapt too much just put in more crosses and actually have a proper striker at the club. This is obviously going to be bad for everyone else, although he does still need to adjust. Some front free foden/Haaland/Sterling, back ups Mahrez/Grealish . as we know the forward players all slot into every slot so even with Jesus likely to go, surprised it took so long to get an out and out striker so will be interesting how he slots in.

    Don't like 1st & 2nd phases when it comes to offside. Watkins was offside in the 1st "phase" so play should have stopped, not let to go on & then forgotten about once a 2nd "phase" occurs

    Just about keeps the title race alive, but City have to lose a game by a couple probably. Would be interesting if both are on level points before last game and one teams does a Brizzle Rovers.

    City have some serious defensive issues. Stones, Walker and Dias are all out for the rest of the season and Ake apparently is also a doubt for Wolves tonight. If they're going to drop points though, then west ham away at the weekend is the most likely place i think, especially as they can still get 6th ahead of Man utd.

    BBC are saying it's even less than that. "City activated a 60m euro (£51.2m) release clause in his contract."

    51.2m in todays market is ridiculous, although i suspect there are a ton of extra fees to agents and hangers on we won't hear about.

    To be fair I presume Dortmund only managed to get Haaland in the first place because of the low Release Clause.

    I mean just look at how much PSG had to pay for Mbappe
