Will be a shame if Ronaldo leaves the premier League. He's a winner and won't be able to settle for a season without CL football.

Hopefully the Dutch bloke convinces him to stay

He's looking a ban for this surely?

Pretty sure it's a specific offence under football disorder law too. Squidgy pigs are exempted btw.
Wow, he's upright and not laying on the floor holding his ankle...or his calf...

So frustrating watching him, he could be very very good but christ he goes down so easily.
His diving's rubbing off on the young lad up front for them too. Senior pro's used to keep the kids in line on that sort of thing, not give lessons.
Can still remember Roy Keane having a go at Ronaldo for diving at The Valley.

Palace get a dodgy penalty... Of course they do

They had that game on in the barber's shop as I was getting my hair cut. Thankfully without my glasses on, I was unable to see the screen!

Burnley 3-0 at home to Villa, is a massive shocker really.

Big fan of Cucurella, remember watching him play for Getafe and he was one of those that always seemed to stand out down that left hand side.

he’s been one of the best players outside the top 6 or 7 clubs this season.
playing a different role the last month or so as he’s been on the left of a back 3 but pleased to see him finally get a goal today.

And to think Maguire took the stick. Bet he’s chuckling inside.

Much fun to watch this. Brighton in 9th is quite impressive.

Remarkable how bad they've become, they've just completely given up.

Ten Hag needs to make about 8 new signings.

Conceivable that Chelsea miss out on Champions League football? Arsenal can go to within a point if they beat Leeds tomorrow. Less likely but I would love love love if spurs beat the dippers tonight and they go to within 3 points.

I don’t understand why Matic has been playing? - both he and the club have announced he will not be there next season.

Hard to see them both getting above Chelsea.
Chelsea have Leeds and Watford as 2 of their last 3 games so should pick up enough points.
Plus Spurs and Arsenal play each other so at least one of them will drop points too.

Chelsea are falling quick and need to be careful. I think they might struggle next season. Even though the new owner loves to spend money, it is still estimated that the official takeover won't happen until late May. By that time I believe Haaland and other targets will have chosen other clubs. Even Tuchel may want out if he does not have an improved club by the end of the window. He gets pouty that way. In addition, Tuchel tends to ride his players very hard and it seems to me without a refreshment of talent every 2 years, teams can wear down. I could see them missing top 4 next year. Over the long-term, they will be hard to beat. The new owner has outspent every baseball club the last few years by $100M per year and loves to buy trophies. He is not like the Glazers.... he does not care how much money he loses.

Pleased for Brighton. These Utd players should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves

The shocking thing is that my reaction to 4-0 is a mild smirk. A few years ago, that would have been headline news for a week

Ronaldo was probably undecided... but he will definitely leave the club now.

They probably need a lot of players to leave. Everyone apart from David dea

Same for Mata, he's leaving as well yet has started the last couple of games. A few games ago Phil Jones randomly got a start, the week before that it was Lingard. They're an absolute mess right now.

It can’t be denied, Liverpool are an incredibly good, hardworking, skillful team. Outstanding players. Terrific manager.

But I can’t fucking stand them. Maybe it’s irrational. Maybe the awful memories of their dominance in the 70s and 80s is too much for me to bear. Maybe it’s just their wanky, entitled, smug fans and how they grasp every opportunity to be a bit more wanky, entitled and smug. Maybe it’s the way the media jizz their pants at the mention of “The Kop”. Maybe it’s the way their fans (rightly) remember the Hilsbrough 96, but (conveniently and wrongly) forget the Heysel 39. I don’t know.

But Liverpool are a very, very good team and if they win the quadruple it would be deserved.
    Really quite annoying.

Second this. By all accounts their squad is unreal and most of them are genuine, model pros; Henderson and Mane for what they do off the pitch particularly.
Problem is everything else about that club is a cesspit of utter fuckwankery.

I’ll also add to that how much they get away with. Fabinho gets away with foul after foul without getting booked every game. Just now he fouled Kane, spurs still had the ball and would’ve been 2v2 but the ref pulls it back and doesn’t dish out a yellow. Seconds later Davis fouls once and gets booked.

Kane did so well, first with the control, then the pass to Sessegnon as a lot of strikers would've had a shot

Kane had far too much time to control what was a poor pass.

This is going to be a long half hour for Spurs
